The streets of Gotham came to a holt when the word got around that the Princess Clown of Crime just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. The Gothamites were outraged that they were letting the worst criminals in the Gotham, to raise a child. Soon there would be three of them, they though.

Well obviously the GCPD wasn't going to let that happen. They have been preparing for this to happen for months now. Two weeks before the birth, they threw Joker in the deepest part of the Asylum, hoping he wouldn't escape. And they held Harley in the holding cells in the GCPD headquarters. Until the dreaded day finally came and the baby was born.

The plan was to tell Harley that they need to put the baby in the nursery. Then after they got the baby away from her, they would take her to Metropolis as an orphan to be raised by a better family. Everything was going well, they had the baby in the nursery as they were getting ready for the ride over to Metropolis, there was a disturbance that arose in the nursery. Joker had broken out of Arkham and locked himself in the room with all of the newborns. He was holding his baby in one arm and a knife in the other. He bent his head down next to the babies ear and whispered, "I'm sorry, but this will keep us together". Than proceeded to carve his signature smile in the infant's mouth. He than yells over the babies screams,

"IF I CAN'T HAVE MY CHILD THAN NONE OF YOU CAN! IF I CANT KEEP HER THAN I WILL CARVE A SMILE ON EVERY SINGLE BABY IN THIS ROOM!"

The people of Gotham weren't going to let this happen even Batman himself didn't want to risk the life of a newborn child so with great reluctance they let Joker and Harley keep their baby. They decided to name her Jester White and they would call her Jess for short. (Jester for obvious reasons and White because it is one of Jokers favorite aliases he uses to scam people).

Jester's birth was just the beginning of the next generation of criminal masterminds. Batman had to do something. So he decided to build a high security academy that the children of these child super criminals would have to live in until they were legal adults. So when Jess turned 6 Batman showed up at the Joker's hideout to take her away. It was the first time that Batman had ever seen the Joker cry actual tears. They obviously didn't give her up easily, but after a lot of fighting, Joker walked over to young Jester and said, "Never lose your beautiful smile".

This is the only memory of her father that Jess has. The smile she was given by her father right after she was born is now a scar just like his, but instead of being embarrassed by it she embraces it because it's a symbol of her family. That's why she vowed to herself, that when she gets out of this hellhole of a school, she will be exactly like her father. Eleven years later, she's a senior in high school and is more like her father each and everyday. She has made friends  and some enemies, but she is always considered the life of the party and practically the leader of the school. And she can't wait to get out and cause some chaos. Get ready Gotham because she's getting out soon and she's ready to hit hard.
