Raven's Story

Raven Kyle. She was brought into the world by the notorious cat burglar, Selena Kyle (Catwoman). She was a surprise, not only to Selena, but to Batman as well. He was a little stunned when he heard that Selena had a child. Their "relationship" was... confusing to say the least, but he really did care about her and was a little heart broken that she went she had a child with someone else. He had suspicion that it was his, though, but even if it was, he didn't want to know.

Raven wasn't brought to the academy until she was 10, which was 4 years after it was officially "opened". This was due to the collection of other kids slowing Batman down, and because he couldn't bring himself to hurt Selena. Raven was Batman's last stop. She was the last one to be "enrolled" into the school. Which means she had a lot of time to get acquainted with her mother. She soon picked up on her mom's habits. She would wake up early, leave, and not come back for what it seemed like days. She began to despise her mom. Raven was forced to grow up fast. She understood what her mom did. She went out, used her charm and good looks to get what she wanted, and if she didn't then she would just steal it.

Raven was relieved when Batman came, she wanted to leave. She just wanted to go and never come back. She hated be alone all the time. And the little time her mom was at the house, she either was drunk, sleeping, or selling expensive jewels she recently stole. 

When he went to take Raven away, Selena argued, of course. But she lost when Raven looked up at her and said "I'm going with him, and that's my choice, not yours" and walked out the door into the hall of the apartment building.

"Bruce, you can't do this! She needs me. Without me she has no one."

"She will be surrounded by kids her age, and it seems like shes perfectly fine with going. This is for the best." Batman then turned and started for the door.

"Shes yo..." She started, only to be interrupted by the door being shut and the sound of the engine of the bat-mobile running outside.

Raven is graduating this year with the rest of her school mates. She now has the internal struggle of figuring out if shes going to be like her mother (like shes expected to be), or if shes going to shut that part of her life out completely and start a new life.
