KHAMYA'S POV

IT WAS THE COLD THAT FINALLY WOKE ME UP. I'd been going in and out of a consciousness, dreamless haze for an indefinable amount of time, and I had no idea how long it had been since I was hit by a taser. Judging from my dry mouth and groggy mind, there was still some drug kicking around in my body, but they must have lifted it enough to let me finally grasp at consciousness.

The floor I was stepping on was slimy, Box-type glass that held no warmth and was made even more uncomfortable because it was damp. It added to the chill seeping into my bones, and I slowly moved and realized I was tied up by a chain. My teeth begun to chatter. So I stood up straight, surprised to find how weak my legs were. I felt a little light-headed, but in the brightness of the room, I at least had no sense of the room spinning. It's too bright, almost blinding.

"Hello, Khamya."

The voice came without warning, seemingly from every part of the cell, echoing off the glass walls. It was male, but there was a synthesized quality to it, like he was speaking through a filter. I said nothing but lifted my head up and stared straight ahead unflinchingly. Then, Dr.Chepovetszky appeared in front of me, holding a radio-like gadget.

"Do you know where you are?" he asked.

I had to swallow a few times before my tongue would form words again.

"I don't know."

"You see Dr.Rafiq, we're indebted to your contribution in this project but we know that you have kind and weak heart, and if you know our real purpose which by the way you did, you'll blew up our plans. So to prevent that from happening, we have to take an extra measure and that is to silence you."

"You're evil! Stop what you're doing! You'll just harm a lot of innocent people!" I shouted but it's as if he can't hear me because he continued.

"But don't worry, we won't kill you yet. We still need your brilliant mind. So for the meantime, we'll keep you imprison. And don't worry about your family,we had already taken extra measures.I'm sure they won't even notice that you're gone." Then he boisterously laughed.

And I was frozen, when I saw the woman who entered the room and appeared before me....

.... a WOMAN WHO LOOKS EXACTLY JUST LIKE ME!
