16; vows ♡

You stand in front of your family, friends, and other loved ones to marry a man that you love very very much. You have never been happier in your life.

You hear the minister faintly in the back of your mind. All you could do is look at the man in front of you and smile.

" Now for the vows. ", the minister looked at me.

As I began to start Mark interrupted.

" If you don't mind I would like to go first. " , Mark said looking at me and then the minister. We both nodded and Mark cleared his throat.

" When I first saw you on the playground in the fourth grade I knew we were going to be bestfriends. You had a blue shirt on and my favorite color was blue and I thought that we could get along since we both liked blue. Turns out your favorite color was green and then it became my favorite color too , mostly because it is the color of your eyes.

When I saw you coming down the stairs of our prom night in your prom gown, I knew you were going to be the one that I would love forever. I examined your gown and it was beautiful on you but I wondered what a wedding gown would look like on you.

When I saw you on Christmas Eve at my home in Cincinnati playing with my little nieces and nephews I knew that I wanted to marry you and that I wanted to start a family with you. I proposed to you the next morning.

Now I see you today. I stand here knowing that I want to grow old with you and have grandkids running around in the front lawn. I stand here knowing that I will be happy for the rest of my life because you will be by my side.

You make me laugh, you make me smile, you make me happy. I promise to always take care of you. I promise to make sure that you have your dentures in when we get older. I promise to hold you when you need me the most. I promise to be there whenever you need me. Most importantly I promise to love you with all of my being.

This will not be the last time you hear this. I will remind you everyday that I love you and you will hear my promises again. You will probably get tired of listening to it but I will never get tired of saying it. You mean the world to me. I am so happy you choose me to be the person that you spend the rest of your life with. I don't know what I would do without you. "
