6; just friends ♡ ( pt. 1 )

From Mark: " y/n , come to my house I need to talk to you about something ! "

You smiled at your screen as you replied back to your bestfriend.

To Mark: " okay i will be there in 10 minutes. "

You ran to your bedroom and grabbed your keys and ran to your car. You didn't even want to change out of your pajamas you where just so happy to see your bestfriend.

You have had a crush on Mark ever since you were freshman in high school and now you are juniors in college and you me feelings just keep growing. You know one day you will have to tell him but for now you just want hope that one day he will confess his feelings for you.

You pull into the parking lot of marks apartment complex and rush up to the second floor and knock on his door.

Mark opens the door and grabs your arm and pulls you inside.

" Mark what is going on ? ", you laugh at him.

" Wait why are you in your pajamas ? ", Mark questions.

" Oh, are we not ordering pizza and watching say yes to the dress ? ", you ask.

" What ? No! This is important ! ", he says grabbing his phone and unlocking it quickly.

" Mark what is going on ? ", you ask kind of concerned.

" Does this mean a girl likes me ? I mean you are a girl right ? You would know. ", he asks shoving his phone in your face.

You scroll through conversations of Mark and a girl named Sarah. You saw smiley faces in all of his texts and hearts and cute texts. Your heart sunk. Who is Sarah ? Whoever she is , she is totally into Mark. You already envy her.

" well ? ", he asks.

" oh um , yeah I think she likes you , why ? ", I ask.

" Oh my god thank you ! Y/ N she is amazing like I met her a couple of months ago when I was taking a rock climbing class and we just clicked. We talked for hours and now we talk everyday all day and night. I really like her and I think she likes me back. Here is a picture. ", he says while showing me a picture of Sarah.

She is so gorgeous. Blonde hair, blue eyes , fairly skinny. " She is prettier than you are ", you thought to yourself.

" She's beautiful. ", you said.

" Isn't she ? ", he says looking at her picture with aw.

You felt yourself start to tear up so you decided that you needed to leave.

" Mark I hate to do this but I'm going to go back home. ", you say not baring to look at him.

" We can still watch say yes to the dress, Sarah likes that show too ! ", he says while trying to make you stay.

" No I am getting stomach cramps so I'm going to leave. ", you say while opening the door.

" Do you need me to help you or anything ? I can go get you some tampons or something. ", Mark says while walking you out.

" no that's okay really. ", you say and you start to walk down the stairs.

" Okay then, buh- bye ", he said while waving at you with a frown.

You get in your car and drive back home.
