Chapter 19: Enemies

Blake's P.O.V

I looked down at my Princess as she was fast asleep and smiled.

What's wrong with me?

Why did I change?

Was it for her?

Or because of her?

I guess it's both.

"Blake?" My little angel whispered half-asleep as I held her tighter.

"Hmm?" I hummed.

"You didn't go to sleep yet?" She mumbled while tracing my tattoos.

"I can't sleep."

"Why?" She wiggled out of my hold and sat up straight while looking at me.

"Because I don't want to wake up to an empty bed. I want you to be here when I wake up. I don't want all of this to be a dream."

"Don't worry Blake... I won't leave you. I promise." She took my hand and hooked pinkies.

"Pinkie promise." She mumbled and gave me a kiss on my cheek then crawled back to bed.

I chuckled and went back to bed while cuddling tight against her.

Please don't leave me...

Hailey's P.O.V

I woke up and panicked because I thought I was late for school already but it was just very early in the morning.

I look to my right and Blake was just beside me sleeping soundly with the moonlight shining on his face making his face glow.

He was an extremely beautiful human being and I don't deserve him at all I swear.

"Please don't leave me..." He whispered as his voice cracked and held me closer to him.

"I won't. I'm right here." I stroked his cheek and smiled.

He sighed contently and continued sleeping but I couldn't.

I was exactly like Blake. I couldn't live without him like how he couldn't live without me.

It happened.

I swear it wouldn't but it did.

I traced his jaw line and ran my hands through his soft hair.

"I love you too Blake." I gave him a light kiss on his lips and decided it was time to sleep.

Before I closed my eyes, I saw his lips tilt up and smile.

How cute.

"My sweet little baby girl, it's time to wake up." He kissed my forehead.

"Hmm?"

"It's time to wake up." I opened my eyes and saw Blake hovering above me shirtless and I stared at him.

"Are you eye-raping me?" He smirked at me.

"Yeah obviously." I got up and flipped my hair sassily and he chuckled.

"You can just do it if you want to you know." Okay, now I blushed bright red and he laughed louder.

"Whatever." I mumbled while still blushing and got up from the bed.

"Wait." He grabbed my waist and hugged me from behind while snuggling his face at the crook of my neck.

"I love you."

As soon as he said that I froze.

"Y-You do?" I stammered and he nodded.

"I do. I love you. I love you, Hailey Marie Jones." He turned me around and stared into my blue orbs.
