Hailey's P.O.V

After visiting Blake today, I felt really bad for him. I know his mother died but I didn't think it would haunt him.

What am I saying? Of course it'll haunt him.

I wish I wasn't that oblivious.

That day at school, I saw it in his eyes saying that he missed his mom.

No one deserved that kind of memory and I don't blame him for turning out like this.

I went back home after that because I didn't want to bother Blake but he didn't want me to go back home alone because it was too dark out.

He insisted that he has to bring me back home to make sure I was safe.

Now I was in the car pouting because Blake doesn't trust me that I can go home alone and he is trying so hard to get my attention while I ignore him.

I can't lie though he wanted the attention so bad that it's adorable.

I bit my lip to make sure I didn't smile.
"Babeee... Can you please don't ignore me?"

He was greeted with silence.

"I threw away all your ice-cream and cookies." He sang.

"WHAT?!" I screamed at him.

He laughed at my response and mocked hurt by placing his hand on his heart.

"Wow, I can't believe you love your food more than me."

"Of course, they are more important than you. I'm still mad at you, I'm not talking to you." I crossed my arms and looked out of the window.

I realised we weren't going back home but this place looked familiar.

He stopped the car and looked at me.

"Are you still angry?" He asked like a little kid.

I got out of the car and stared at the store that was gleaming with cookies and I stared at it like gold.

We were at Famous Amos.

He got out of the car too with a smirk on his lips because he knew he won this time and he did.

I ran up to him and hugged him tight.

"Oh My Gosh!!! Thank you! Thank you! Come on hurry up! I want my cookies!" I jumped up and down and squealed like a crazy little girl while pulling Blake's arm but he just stood there and laughed while shaking his head.

"Not until you give me a kiss and say you love me more than cookies and ice-cream."

I looked at him in disbelief because he was indeed a monster. A cookie monster. My cookie monster though.

"Fine."

I went up to him and wrap my arms around him neck as he rest his arms on my waist and I pull him closer and gave him a kiss which turned heated in a couple of seconds, not that I'm complaining.

We pulled away to catch our breaths and I rest my forehead against his and whispered.

"I love you but not more than my cookies and ice-cream."

"I knew it." He mockingly glared at me.

"I love you too." He said lovingly.

-After I ate half of the cookies in Famous Amos-

"You're the best!" I lunged at him unexpectedly and he stumbled a bit but held my waist to stable me.

"Woah there..." He chuckled.
