Chapter Three: When You Come Home

Kakashi

It had been three weeks since the end of the great ninja war, Itachi had defeated Kabuto with his little brother, Sasuke Uchiha. Itachi was put to rest later on to never be disturbed again, and Orochimaru came back after Kabuto was defeated.

Sasuke and his team later left with Orochimaru, disappearing once again. Obito and Naruto hadn't been seen for three weeks and Kakashi had grown to become worried, as Itachi never told Kakashi where Naruto was. Kakashi had searched with Hinata, Neji, and Kiba to no avail.

Kakashi was caught out of his trance from Tsunade, she had slammed her fist on the desk in frustration, "Are you really telling me, Kakashi, that you have no idea where Naruto is?" Tsunade's face was furious, her brown eyes shooting daggers at him. Kakashi cleared his throat, "Uh... That's exactly what I'm telling you." Tsunade cursed under her breath, "You know that the Akatsuki is still out there right? They desperately want the nine tails, and you could've just gave it to them, I mean... God you let him go with Itachi Uchiha? The man who slaughtered his entire clan, now I'd like to think you actually not that stupid but you let him go with a criminal."

Kakashi groaned a bit, "Itachi means no harm to Naruto or the Hidden Leaf." Tsunade furrowed her eyebrows, "And how's that?" Kakashi sighed, "It's a long story."

Naruto

Naruto let out a sigh, Obito was now awake and walking around, slowly but surely. Obito had fallen a couple of times but Naruto was right there to catch him each time. "I guess it's time for you to go back to the hidden leaf." Obito said snapping him out of his trance, "What?" Obito chuckled, "I said, I guess it's time for you to go home now."

Naruto furrowed his eyebrows, "Yeah, I guess it is." Obito tilted his head, "Well, allow me to at least get you out of this god forsaken shack." Naruto smiled, "Alright." Obito walked a couple of steps forward and grabbed the boy's waist, "Hey!" Obito rolled his eyes, "I kinda have to hold on to you, for me to switch dimensions and teleport.

Naruto growled, "Fine, but don't hold there," Obito quirked an eyebrow, "Then where do I hold?" "Here." Naruto said grabbing Obito's hands and placing them on each temple of his head. Obito laughed, "Are you serious?" "Dead serious." "Oh don't worry princess, I'll keep you safe." Obito teased, and Naruto glared.

Obito waved a hand and they were sucked into a vortex, colors, blurs of shapes where gliding across as they shifted from dimension to dimension. "What's that?" Naruto asked, looking at a boulder falling towards them. Obito grabbed Naruto's waist much to his protest and shifted them over barely escaping the rock. More and more colors began to distort and images began to flash before Naruto's eyes and before he knew it, Obito and him were free falling towards a gaping black hole.

Kakashi

There was a knock at the door of Kakashi's apartment, he glanced over at the clock, who is knocking this late?  With a protestant grunt Kakashi got up and opened the door, to see a very frantic, Guy looking at him with glossy eyes. "Kakashi, we've found him." Kakashi ran out the door, following Guy to where a boy lay, people had already crowded around him. Kakashi pushed past looking at a boy who resembled a lot like the boy who had gone missing almost six years ago.

Naruto.

Naruto

Naruto's eyes were flooded with more colors, still holding onto Obito, they hit something, pretty hard. When Naruto opened his eyes, Kakashi was looking down at him with his hands on his hips, "You guys are always late!" Naruto glanced over to see a dazed Obito, he was looking at a girl, is he about to cry?

"Rin?" he breathed out, she smiled back, Kakashi glared at him, "You're not even listening to a word I'm saying are you?" Obito waved him away and ran over to the girl, hugging her desperately, "Are you okay, Obito?" Naruto could only imagine Obito's smile, because when he said those two words, he could just hear the joy in his voice.

"I'm home."
