Chapter Nine: You and Me ♡

Naruto clutched onto Obito's shoulders and felt Obito's hand grab onto his back, the world started to shift and colors obliterated before his eyes, as they materialized into another dimension.

Naruto closed his eyes, his breathing hitching a bit, he could hear Obito's heartbeat, racing and forced.

He felt a hand rest on top of his head, tousling his hair, "My, my, my, what have we here Obito?" Obito coughed, as Naruto sat up and looked at Orochimaru, his golden eyes full of marvel.

"His wounds are infected." Orochimaru put a finger to his lip, seemingly lost in thought, "What happened?" Obito coughed some more, "Kakashi got me with his Chidori."

Orochimaru nodded, "Alright, Naruto help me get him onto the table." Naruto nodded, he slipped his hands underneath his knees and another under his back, carrying him bridal style.

He carried him over to the table, setting him down gingerly, Orochimaru motioned his hand towards the door, "You'll need to get out." Naruto furrowed his brows, "Why? Won't you nee-"

"Naruto." Obito caught Naruto's hand, circling his thumb, "I'll be alright." Naruto looked down, "You better be."

Naruto pulled away and walked out the room, collapsing as he shut the door.

Kakashi

Kakashi undid his mask, turning on the faucet before him, splashing his unblemished face with piercing water, his eyes bloodshot, his body a bit skinnier, needless to say, he wasn't taking care of himself due to the worry of where Naruto was.

It had been almost three months since he last disappeared, the village on high alert, searching for both him and Uchiha Itachi.

But both were nowhere to be seen.

Kakashi slammed his fist on the counter, "Damnit, where are you, Naruto?"

A knock came to the door, "Kakashi?" Kakashi pulled his mask up, "Come in." The door opened and Iruka peeked inside, his face seemed to be analyzing him, "He'll be okay, Kakashi."

Kakashi shook his head, "You don't know that." Iruka looked down, as he stepped forward, arms wide, "Maybe so, but Naruto is strong." Iruka pulled Kakashi into a hug, "We'll find him."

Naruto

He rubbed his eyes, hours had passed, and he still had no idea what was going on, he held his head in frustration, his thoughts whirling, causing his head to spin.

He shook off his uneasiness, playing with his thumbs to curb his anxiety.

The door opened and out walked Orochimaru, exhausted and sweaty.

Naruto looked up at him, "He'll be fine, but he's in a lot of pain right now." Naruto stood up and bowed his head, "Thank you." Orochimaru nodded, "You look exhausted yourself, a shower and some clean clothes should do you some good." Naruto glanced away, "What abo-" "He's asleep right now anyway, so you wouldn't be able to see him."

Naruto nodded, following Orochimaru to a room, he opened the door and allowed Naruto to step inside, "The bathroom is over there, clothes should be in that dresser and you can see the bed, try and get some sleep." Naruto nodded an okay, "Thank you... again."

Orochimaru nudged his shoulder, "Don't worry about it, although I do want to talk to you in the morning." Naruto furrowed his brow, "About?"

Orochimaru shrugged, "Nothing important." With that, he left with a click of a door.

Naruto sighed, plopping onto the bed, raking a hand through his hair, he stared at the ceiling.

Sitting up, he walked over to the dresser, grabbing a pair of gray sweats and a loose blue shirt.

Hopping into the shower, he scrubbed the accumulated grime and blood, noticing a few bruises that had begun to decorate his skin, most likely because he was anemic.

Sighing, he turned off the shower, threw on the clothes, and collapsed onto the bed, drifting asleep.

|| Dream ||

"Come on Kakashi-sensei!" Sakura yelled, grasping his hand in hers, while she held onto Sasuke's hand, while he held onto Naruto's.

They ran, though he wasn't quite sure what for, but they ran, laughing and cheerful smiles displayed on their faces.

Sakura stopped and dragged them into Ino's family flower shop, she looked over all the flowers carefully, before finally deciding on a bouquet of Azure Dahlia's.

She giggled as she ran out with them, pulling the boys in tow, running as fast as they could before they stopped, Sakura turned to Naruto handing him the flowers, before she pushed him ahead, he walked forward, staring at someone's back, not really sure of who they were, though they bore the Uchiha crest on their jacket.

Naruto tugged on his shirt sleeve, and he turned around, Sakura came up, "Happy Birthday Obito-sensei!"

Obito smiled crouching down to Naruto's level, "These for me?" Naruto nodded a bit shyly, whilst handing him the flowers, "Happy birthday, Sensei." Obito grinned brightly, taking the flowers, as he ruffled Naruto's hair, "Thank you so much, this means a lot."

The dream quickly shifted to a much darker one, Obito cried out, at the pain of Naruto's kunai, being slashed into his gut, Naruto looked down, dropping the kunai, his eyes watering at the sight.

No, no, no. no, why?!

He shook his head violently, clutching Obito's lifeless body close to his own, crying out in pain.

Naruto jolted awake, streams pouring down his face, he brought his hands to his eyes, wiping away the tears, gasping, his breathing rigid.

He rubbed his temples, and got up from the bed, pacing the room, as his breathing steadied out.

The door clicked open, making him jolt, to only relax when he saw Obito standing in the door frame, he rushed over and pulled him into a tight embrace, afraid to let go.

Obito chuckled a bit, "Worried about me, kid?" Naruto scoffed, "Of course not, old man."

HI IT'S ME AGAIN SO I'M REALLY HAPPY WITH THIS CHAPTER, I'VE SPENT A FEW HOURS ON IT BUT NOW I NEED A SHOWER SO YEAH I HOPE YOU LIKE IT AHHHHH IM SO HAPPPPYYYYY XDDD

Okay but in all seriousness, I'm starting to ship these two more and more, and I think I'm obsessed, I'll probably cry when I end this fanfic, but until that day comes, I shall continue to give you fluff and *coughs* smut (͡ ͡° ͜ つ ͡͡°)

Which I really want to do soon so maybe Chapter Fifteen? xD I wanna go with the flow but I'll leave a warning when that chapter "cums"... Ahhhaah get it? Omfg I'm done with my pervy ass (；一_一)
