The story begins with a thought-provoking hook. This book will make you contemplate life, its meaning and the end. The writing is deep and poetic, unsettling and insightful. It might be different than anything you have ever read as it is narrative based - there is no dialogue. The protagonist is central to the story line thus the plot is fairly linear.
I like the contradiction of "began at the terminus". Warning, you may need a dictionary to read this and I would only suggest this to readers who like to think.
Of course it is not free of errors. Some of it seems a bit unrealistic such as being naked on the beach (in the most innocent way), hiking a mountain, and the eloquence in which she is able to articulate her thoughts as a child. However, there are plausible solutions: 1. she could be at a nude beach, 2. I'm not sure, and 3. a child genius.
It's short with one page chapters, long sentences and paragraphs. The quality of writing is reminiscent of an archaic time period. And I must mention that the ending is beautiful.
