Loki groaned as he felt movement beside him. He shifted in his sleep and furrowed his brow feeling hands on his face. Before he could open his own eyes, Arlan had opened his left eyelid as Skye was pretending to make him speak as she babbled. He quickly wrapped his arms around the two and pinched their sides, making them laugh loudly. Soon, Haldane, Erica and Mánadis awoke as well. Loki was confused as to why Alice was still asleep after being moved around on the bed. Nonetheless, he helped the children go into their room and get them ready for the day. Tony and Pepper came to collect them as Loki went to wake up Alice. She moaned in annoyance and swatted at his hand, earning a quick chuckle from him. She soon began to wake and groaned as she sat up against the headboard.

"Looks as though you slept well last night." Loki grinned.

"I feel like I got three hours." Alice huffed.

"What? You slept for several hours."

"I just want to go back to bed."

"But you have work with Eir. She said you could come back, remember?
"Oh, right." Alice sighed.

She pulled back the covers and stood from the bed. She furrowed her brow as she lost her balance for a moment. Loki was quick to grip her hands and she thanked him.

"Stood up too fast, I guess." She scoffed.

Loki knew something was wrong as Alice made her way to the bathroom.

"Alice..." He trailed off.

"Yeah." She replied.

"You know I find it alarming when you brush off serious health problems."

Alice rolled her eyes as she stood up from the toilet, flushing it. She quickly washed her hands before stepping back into the bedroom with her hands on her hips.

"I'm alright, Loki. Now let me get ready for work." She told him.

Loki crossed his arms over his chest as she stepped back in the bathroom. After a few seconds, she poked her head out and smiled.

"And thank you for last night." She then disappeared back into the bathroom.

Loki chuckled as he made his way over to her. He found her changing into her uniform and wrapped his arms around her from behind as she tied on her apron.

"Have I ever told you how sexy you look in this?" He inquired.

"You have," Alice turned, placing her hands on his chest. "And don't get me started on the countless times you have made me late for work all because you posed that question."
"Well, care to add another instance to the record?"

Alice grinned as she walked back into the bedroom. Loki watched her as she went and beamed with delight seeing her appear back in the doorway.

"Come on. I haven't got all morning." She giggled.

Loki followed after Alice and wrapped his arms around her. Once the two had finished, Alice smoothed out her dress as Loki buttoned up his jacket.

"And you still have a few minutes before your shift." Loki winked at her.

Alice scoffed as she pushed him back playfully.

"I'll stop by during my lunch break." She exited the bedroom.

Upon entering the healing rooms, Eir was the first to greet her. Before starting her work, Eir decided to check up on her. Alice laid herself down on the Soul Forge and beamed seeing the outline of the baby.

"Everything still looks fine with the baby. Vitals are good."

Eir then looked back at her lungs and noticed that the small, black mass had gotten a little bigger. As she focused in on it, she noticed another mass beginning to form on the other lung.
