"well, would you look at that.... I thought it'll be a bit flashier to be honest" looking at the building in real life was very anticlimatic , i am clearly not amused and well... kind of let down...... "it's so office-y" i continued.... hoping to get a word out of Chenle, he is technically the only person i know as of right now so.... better stay on his good side.

"let's just go in wengie i'm beat" without waiting for a reply, he started walking to the building entrance.... hmmm, this scene feels kind of similar...... with a shrug I tailed behind him.

"wengie, we're sharing a room- if the other guys in the dorm has a problem with that....we're gonna have to go to war"
we were informed that we'd be sharing a dorm with 6 other boys during our time training. other than that information, we know nothing about what they're like.
"okay chen, i think we'd be rooming together even if we liked it or not"
just like that, the elevator came to a stop, making a buzzing noise to indicate we've reached our floor. with our luggage in tow, we navigated our way to the end of the hallway.

"let me" i stopped chenle from grabbing his dorm key from his pocket and stuck mine in the doorknob instead. "weird, it's not locked" i said with confusion before twisting the doorknob open. I stepped inside first with chenle hot on my tail with his and my luggage in tow and almost immediately, my thumb and index finger flew to pinch my nose to block out that horrid stench. "it stinks" i muttered as i gasped for air, the toxic air.

completely unfazed, chenle passed by me and went towards an empty room, pressumably ours...... stopping in his track, "it's typical wen, not all guys are like me" he said over his shoulder proudly. "you got that right" i agreed and ran after him, tripping over what i think were days old boxers..... bright green kermit the frog boxers......

quickly closing the room door, i pushed chenle away from our bags, quickly opening my luggage bag to look for something. "what are you looking for so desperately?" questioned chenle, not happy I rudely shoved him to the side, "this!" I exclaimed excitedly, "I knew it served a purpose" getting up from my knees, I turned around to face Chenle and show him what I was looking hard for, disinfectant spray. A facepalm was his reply. Paying no attention to him, I opened the door to enter the pigsty- I mean, living room to air it out.

"Finally, I can breathe" I took in a deep breathe, my lungs almost gave out but now, my nostrils could only inhale the smell of 98% alcohol, I'm still thankful though. Chenle deciding to walk around the living room too after I had left our room, he looked around then stopped in front of the same bright green boxers I had tripped over, pointing at it with his foot as he said, "you see this? Well, you better get used to this and also the smell or they'll know your secret" waving his foot above the boxers after, as if provoking me.
Rolling my eyes, "I know better okay Chen", "Get your foot away from that.... thing" I shot him a disgusted look.

Hearing the door unlock, both our heads turn to face the door. There, at the door were the 6 boys that we have both silently concluded are our dorm mates. The 6 boys and us were frozen at our spots, not moving an inch....

"Oh, looks like we finally got the whole gang here" after what felt like minutes of silence, the boy with wide eyes and a baby-like face broke the silence. the other five standing behind him awkwardly nodding their heads at us and us doing the same.
"Nice to finally meet you guys, I'm Yang Chi, Yang is just fine and this is Chenle" I said with a smile as I pointed to me and then Chenle to tell them who was who.

"Ah, right introductions....." the same boy said while scratching the back of neck. Walking inside with the other five boys and then standing in a straight line before speaking, "I'm Mark, I'm from Canada" ,"this is Donghyuck or Haechan, he doesn't mind either" Mark continued as he pointed to the guy beside him, "that's Jaemin, we were out with his mom for lunch since she did some volunteering work in the area" pointing towards the next dude who gave us a small smile, he's pretty... I thought, quite envious. "that's Jeno, he might come off a little rude at first since he doesn't really warm up to people that fast" Mark explained while Jeno nodded along in agreement, "that's Jisung, our youngest and Renjun, he's also from China, he arrived just a week ago" Mark finished, a sudden realisation hit me..... Renjun.....Renjun.... that name sounded very familiar......my eyes widen after the realisation, I pinched Chenle's arm for his attention, getting a wince of pain from him as he turned his head towards me..... I eyed him then signalled him with my eyes to the boy standing furthest from the left of the line. A raise of Chenle's eyebrow was all I got in response. ughhh I mentally cried out of frustration.

"Let's get to know each other better, tomorrow's a Saturday right? Let's go out to eat something, my treat" Chenle said to the guys with a smile and also a cheer of agreement.
"Alright, well better start changing clothes, we got our first training lessons as a team in an hour" Mark said to us to which only got a bunch of groans as a response. All of us went back to our respective rooms with that being said while I dragged Chenle by the arm to rush into our room. Shutting the door promptly after.

"Chen, I think I forgot to tell you something I was meant to tell you a week before we had to leave"
