"Wen, get dressed fast, I told the guys I was gonna treat them to a meal"
Ah, right Chenle needs to establish some ground with them oh right, me too.

"Yeah, yeah heard you. Gonna do it now" I jumped fron the top bed and landed nicely on my feet, "and the crowd goes wild ahHHh, ahhHhhH, Wengie sticks a 10 out of 10 landing!"
Chenle only rolled his eyes at my antics, "that landing deserves a 5 at best"
"hey!" I said to Chenle's back as I slid into an oversized tee, "done changing by the way"
Chenle turned around and shrugged, "I was trained to judge from the day I was born, and this judge is certain that landing is a 5"
"whatever, child" I took a glance at the mirror on the wall of our room and gave my image a thumbs up, satisfied with my look before slipping out of the room with Chenle just behind me.

I had the best sleep yesterday night. Mainly because the night before literally was that tiring. Thankfully, the company isn't that cruel and the weekends are more laid back yes, sadly there's still training. I still would rather do 2 hours of training mid-afternoon and then 2 hours more at night than 4 hours non-stop. It really is tough work, gotta give the seniors credit for going through so much.

Mark and the others woke me and Chenle up the same night to go over the simple rules because they forgot to tell us during the day, that still didn't mess with my sleep though, I can't say the same for what they were babbling... hopefully Chenle got it memorised instead or we'll both be in trouble.
We both knocked on the other guys' doors to check if they've gotten dressed and are ready to go grab some good food because Chenle goes all out on food.....all out.]

This time Mark remembered to lock the doors and off we headed on foot to look for a great place to eat.

"Guys, don't hold back, Chenle's paying- eat what you guys' want" I said half jokingly, raising my eyebrows at said person who was walking beside me. Sensing the others have stopped walking because there were no longer sounds of foot hitting the ground, I turned around only to be greeted with hesistant faces, well majority of their faces looked taken aback, except for Chenle and surprise, surprise....Renjun. I might've been staring at him for too long since he had narrowed his eyes at me, well someone clearly woke up on the wrong side of the bed...... I, the professional that I am, played it off rather coolly......

"Yang, what are you doing? flipping long hair that you clearly don't have?" Jeno said sarcastically.....geez, Mark wasn't wrong when he said you're cold......
"Jeno...." Mark warned before opening his mouth again, "Chenle, are you fine with us eating anything we want?" looking at Chenle as he asked politely. Jeno, you could learn a thing or two from Mark, he's clearly going places.
"Erm, well...I don't mind- what do you guys feel like eating?"
the guys looked at each other as if they magically gained telepathic powers.

"Welcome!" greeted the store owner as we walked in, a KBBQ place, as cliche as it may seem, that was what they settled on. Donghyuck's uncle owns this place so he assured Chenle his wallet wouldn't be in that much pain.
Donghyuck sweetie, it won't leave a dent at all... I can also lend Chenle a hand in the case his card does get declined but I won't be telling them that though, the amount of meat they ordered already had my hands too shaky to pull my card out. Not a miser, but a savvy spender is what I'd like to call myself.

"Guys, chill there's like 6 other plates of meat.....you guys' are going to choke" I was genuinely worried for all of them....minus Chenle, I think he's just as shocked as I am, that dude has had his chopsticks gripped onto the same piece of meat for the past 10 minutes.
Jaemin, who was sitting in front of me looked me dead in the eye and said, "my mom doesn't let me eat this much meat, I gotta take this chance" before stuffing yet another piece of meat into his mouth and then grabbing the tongs to take charge of the grill from Mark who was also too busy filling his face.

A phone ring tone louder than my mom yelling at me blasted at our table, I glanced under the table to check if it was my phone just in case and thankfully it wasn't, it'd be more embarrassing than that time I had Jaemin telling me not to stress about my body getting sore.

"Ah, sorry guys, gotta take this real quick" Renjun said apologetically before getting up from his seat to head outside to talk to whoever was on the phone.

Yet another phone went off seconds after, and this time it was mine. I looked at the caller ID and my eyes widen, "it's my mom" I panic whisper to Chenle who probably already knew since he had his eyes peered at my phone over my shoulder. "answer it" he whispered back
"you need to take that Yang?" Jaemin asked, finally without a mouth full of meat, actually the others also had stopped eating after they realised I wasn't answering the phone call.
"ah right, right. I'll be going now" I said awkwardly after what seemed to be my mom's 3rd attempt to get ahold of me.
"Tell aunty I said 'hello' !" Chenle said cheekily as I got up from my seat.

Unlike Renjun, I decided to answer my call outside of the toilet. We can't have two people speaking mandarin over the phone and potentially hearing things we're not suppose to. Doing good for the both of us, Renjun doesn't know that I'm doing him a huge favour. It's tough being me. I consoled myself and gave a pat on my back before pressing the accept call button.
"hello, mama" I said after holding my phone to my ear.
"about time you answered wengie, how are things there with Chenle?" mom asked over the line. Great, she doesn't sound angry.
"Doing good mom, Chenle's doing okay also. Just need a little more time to adjust to things" I replied while fixing my hair in the mirror.
"Well, I just wanted to call you to ask how were things over there" mom continued. ain't no way.....she doesn't just call to ask me if I was doing okay.....puzzled at my mom's behaviour, I continued, "is there something I need to know mom...." I asked just to make sure she had nothing up her sleeve.
"well now that you've mentioned it....I just remembered that Renjun, remember Renjun, Wengie? Well, his mother is on the phone with him right now and she told me that after getting the best grades in his year, he decided to take a gap year before entering college and guess what! he's also trying out the whole idol trainee experience you and Chenle are doing right now! Isn't that exciting -----" at this point, I stopped listening. It wouldn't take a genius to find out that my fiance Renjun is trainee Renjun and he lives under the same roof as me now. Picture this, a girl dressing like a boy sitting on the side of the toilet sink, a leg folded to support the hand that is supporting my head and occasionally pulling my hair out of annoyance trying to not lose her cool. What a sight.

"Mom, I gotta go- the others are waiting on me. I'll talk to you soon okay? bye bye" I said in a rush before finally hitting the end call button.
As I was caught up in my thoughts, a person walked into my toilet. Can't a girl get some alone time in the public toilet?

"Hey, Yang. Everything alright?"

the voice I least want to hear. great, just great. sighing internally, I looked up to see the same person I guessed just a moment ago. "yeah, I'm doing fine" I gave a small smile, ready to hop of the side of the sink when bright liquid on Renjun's white pants caught my eye.
"what happened to your pants?" pointing out the obvious, I slapped myself mentally for asking that question but I am pretty curious, did Chenle somehow put two and two together and poured some pink drink on his white pants for me? pfttt nahhhh, just no way my pretty boy would've thought of that.
"some lady accidentally tripped on a rock and her drink got all over my pants when I was outside on the phone with my mom" was his reply that had my train of thought broken.
"she offered to pay for dry cleaning but I thought she was already having a bad day so, I assured her that it was fine" he continued. nice kid, thoughtful, kind- wait okay gotta stop there.
"guess both of us started the day off pretty badly" I joked to lighten the mood to which he gave a out a small laugh, "yes, I guess so", "but at least you don't have a mystery drink on your pants, your favourite white pants" Renjun replied with a sad smile.
"hmm, since you've been awfully nice to me, I'll help you get rid of the stain when we're back at the dorm" I offered out of the kindness of my heart, well pity was more accurate to which, he agreed to instantly.

The others didn't really care that both of us had a 30 minute phone call but they did look curious as to why we returned to our table together. It was just for a split second though since they had ordered yet another plate of meat and were too busy grilling it as soon as the server placed it on the table.

At least the walk back to the building was less tense than when we were walking to the bbq place.

Oh and of course Chenle has a lot to listen to tonight.
