Yet another tiring day after we arrived back to SM Entertainment's main building, I can't be telling Chenle I wanna quit now even though I did willingly audition for it with him months ago. It's his dream to become an idol while yours truly is just here for the fun of it, it's a surprise I even made it through with the minimal effort I put in. If they didn't accept me, I would've made Chenle's grandfather pull a few strings here and there for me since I am more favoured than him sometimes but well, I made it here the same way as everyone else.

Walking back from the bathroom to the room I share with Chenle felt as if I was walking from Beijing to Macau but in fact, the bathroom was literally right beside our room. Anyway, as I opened the door and closed it shut after, Chenle decided to speak, "wanna fill me in?"
ah right, I won't be sleeping tonight.

"of course! who do you take me for, sit, sit" I beckon to the hard wood floor, you don't really have a choice anyway. Taking a lovely seat in the middle of the room's floor was what he did right after I said that
I sat down right beside him, filling him in on every single detail and maybe exaggerated a little too much as I talked.

2.00 AM stated the clock I placed on the side drawer beside Chenle's bed as I took a quick glance at it to check the time. At least, I was done filling him in on every single thing. Chenle, on a few rare occasions, didn't butt in or stop me mid-sentence throughout me talking. It really was that serious the one-way conversation we were currently having with each other.

Minutes after I finally finished talking, we sat there in silence. Waiting for either one of us to speak.

"Well things have become extremely messy" to which I couldn't help but to pinch his arm as a response.
"I'm gonna go confront him" I stated as I got up from the floor and made my way to the door to do just that, feeling a weight pulling me back down, I stumbled back down to the floor. Sending an annoyed look towards the culprit.
"You by any means, never, never ever bring it up to him" Chenle said as he tightly hugged my arm that he pulled just a while ago, afraid I might attempt to stand up again. He continued on after making sure I wouldn't try anything, "What if your identity gets found out?"
I shot him a confused look, "You were completely against the idea of me pretending to be a boy but, now you suddenly seem to care more than I do?" I questioned, sounding rather shocked and confused.
Chenle opened his mouth to only shut it again after.....thinking hard for a while before he responded with, "Look, only you and I know that you're erm well....a girl" he whispered the last part while I blankly stared at him, signalling him to continue to which he did, "You need to keep it that way for the sake of everyone, you already dragged me into this. You have to take responsibility for it" he said as he had a more loose grip around my arm now knowing that I won't be trying to get up, well for now.

Still rather puzzled and also somewhat understanding to the situation after going through it again in my head, it does seem a little irrational for me to just knock on Renjun's door at 2 in the morning to question him during his half awake state, I also kind of don't want to wake Jeno up- that dude and I just can't seem to click just yet or at all.

"Okay, okay- I'll think of what to do tomorrow" I said as I messed my hair up out of frustration
"....later in the morning" Chenle corrected. Really isn't the time to correct me, brainy. I eye rolled, "Let's just go to sleep" I said completely drained to put up a fight. Nodding in response Chenle moved to his bed and I did to mine after seeing him do so.

Fluffing my pillow before slamming my head on in rather violently, I closed my eyes to try to get at least 3 hours of sleep.

I want to go home.

Not realising Wengie might've said that out loud before falling asleep, Chenle had heard what she had said and that made him feel slightly bothered by it. He didn't know why but it just felt unsettling. That morning, Chenle didn't get a wink of shut eye, he was too busy figuring things out.

Why did it bother him so much that Wengie wants to go home? He was the one that was the most opposed of the idea of Wengie following him than when she broke the news to her mother and father and also his mother and father, he was there when she told them, all of them! He really was in a state of confusion and maybe in denial.
