Fortunatly, the sound of the door off the room opening stopped (y/n) from doing something reckless.

Gintoki and Katsura's expressions softened in relief. It was Takasugi and he had a very angry expression on, what meant that he was aware of their situation.

The man shoted a glance at Takasugi, but not losing is attention from (y/n) for one second. He already had saw her fight various times and he knew that if he was to let his guard down he was a dead man. Even if she was just a kid.

"On great! Another punk! Be a good boy and put your weapon down as well, like your buddies here!" - he said with a harsh tone.

The purple haired boy did as he said and then took a few steps closer to the man.

The boss, who was in high alert, quickly catched onto it and took a few steps back, still holding the girl by the hand and getting closer to Gintoki, recovering the distance lost between him and Takasugi.

A few whispers of pain escaped (y/n)'s longues as the man moved, setting Takasugi's rage to his maximum level, but still he did his best to keep himself in check.

The faster he could managed, he decided on a plan and once done, he gave the boss a large smirk.

"I don't see why you are so mad..." - the boy began to speak with irony.

"WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE ROBBED, KID?!!!" - the man replied in a mix of annoyance and fury. He was starting to loose is patience - "I'M NOT PLAYING GAMES HERE!!! IF YOU DON'T TELL ME WHERE THE MONEY IS RIGHT NOW, I'M KILLING THIS GIRL!!!"

As the man spoke, distracted with his own rumbling, Takasugi took the oportunity to signal his friends. He gave some eye signs to Gintoki and Katsura and they seemed to understand.

(Y/n), on the other hand, was completly lost, she almost had forgotten her intent on killing the man. Now all she wanted to know was what in the world where the boys planning. Takasugi gave her a "stay calm" sign (A/N: imagine it however you want😅) and she decided to not move and don't intervene for the moment.

Once the man was finished talking, Takasugi replied:

"You want the money? Here it is." - the boy stated in the most normal of ways, taking out of the sleeve of his kimono a large pack of banknotes.

(Y/n)'s eyes widened along with Gintoki's and Katsura's in disbelief.

So that was it. The boys had taken advantage of her and while everyone was distracted with her fight he robbed the room, beating the boss's heanchman in the process. He used her to get the money. She had been a fool for understimating them for being the same age as she. Now they were going to take advantage of the situation a run away, leaving her to her death....or so the girl thought.

Takasugi proved her wrong:

"I'm not handing this money over. It wasn't yours to begin with, so there isn't a reason to be called a robbery. I merely took back what belonged to (Fake Name)!" - the boy stood his ground.

"I TOLD YOU! HAND IT OVER OR I'LL---" - the man was caught off.

"Are you sure you want you talk to me like that?!" - Takasugi threathened and took another object from his other sleeve. This time, it looked like a paper cutter.

The man's confidence dropped exponentially as he recognized the object. He knew exactly where the boy was going with that.

On the background, it was possible to hear Gintoki whispering to Katsura:
