"What's the matter?" My mother worried now, I gasped I could not believe she got me this. I looked up away from this beautiful bathing suit "Are you sure she got this for me?" My happiness swelled I couldn't help the smile that's plastered itself on my face.

"Yes we both picked it out and it finally came in today-" all my hope shattered my smile no longer lingered, my mom always does this she'll say they both picked it out saying it was Lewin's idea.

"Thanks mom but you don't have to say she helped pick it out" my shoulders slumped, I should be used to getting my hopes up but any chance I get I take it. Make it seem bigger than it actually is out to be.

She sighed dramatically I was thankful she tried but it hurts even more, it's just better if she'd stop doing it and let it be how it is.

"How about we go out to lunch" her smile grew once again, she was the type to have everyone contagious to her happiness. Lewin approached the car her long lengthy legs stretched with ease, she was so gentle but so fierce is was absolutely beautiful.

"Lewin how about we head to lunch then back to the pack house" my mother didn't need any of our permissions on what she intended on doing, she'd force us to go along.

"How about...Logan's Café" I flinched at my sisters tone it was harsh I don't know how my mother is so comfortable with it. It was nice to hear her speak and try socializing with me around, every time I enter its the silent treatment.

"I haven't been there in years! Do you like the idea Lola" my mother was so excited I wouldn't be able to say no if I wanted to. "Yes great choice" my voice seemed so weak compared to my mothers and sister.

The silence returned shortly but not to long as we arrived I breathed finally relief to get out of this car there was so much tension building up.

"I'll meet you guys in there I need to call Alpha Rooks back" Lewin called off in the distance I shrugged this was the normal she always had to deal with this, so does my older brother.

"Will it just be the two of you today?" the lady asked boredom thick in her voice "No one more will be attending with us" she always seemed to be very formal any place we go.

Seated at a small table I sat opposite knowing Lewin won't sit near me. I sensed her enter the small café I glanced seeing her lighten up the young ladies face, the same jealousy smothered my scent.

I noticed my mother scrunch her nose as she glared at me, Lewin sat down gathering more attention.

"Could I get you ladies some drinks?" The male waiter eyed Lewin I could see so much desire spill off of him "Coffee please" she didn't bother looking at him "how about you" he asked my mother and I. The heat rising to my cheeks "Same for the three of is" my mother responded knowing what I would like to get.

He nodded lingering on Lewin before he left, "What did the Alpha want" I was curious as I asked before I could stop myself. She looked over the menu she didn't even bother to respond to my question. It was such a simple mistake to try and ask.

"He's going to be on pack land earlier than expected so to inform the pack of his early arrival" I couldn't believe she actually spoke to me, I didn't mind the cold dull tone for once it was nice to receive something from her.

The waiter set our drinks down "You ladies ready to order?" his attention mainly focused on Lewin who wasn't paying any effort to acknowledge his presence.

"Chicken salad for me" she glanced to her watch as she set her menu down and grabbing her coffee. I'm always stunned how she could ignore his intense stare. "I'd like a salad" my mom waited patiently for me to respond.

"Bowl of fruit please" I wasn't to hungry I'm to anxious for tonight we do pack parties all the time but with this specific pack it shakes me up every time.

Our meals were surprisingly back quicker than expected. My mother tried getting us to all talk I did my best but I was not comfortable with my own sister around.

We all left I was regretting the ride back home I would rather enjoy a lunch peacefully quiet instead of arriving back at the pack with wild people roaming around.

When I don't want time to fly by it does the complete opposite. I groaned noticing the large amount of our pack already here, I could easily spot Rook's pack his men dominated the grounds they walked on. I shivered trying to push the fear back, his men gathered calmly with ours I saw the females chatting amongst one another. Everyone seemed so happy and laid back I saw my father enjoying a good laugh with the Alpha a small smile came back.

The car pooled into the garage I noticed the stares directed towards us thankful for the tinted windows.

"Girls go put clean change of clothes on then go have fun" she bounced out of the car grabbing the bags out of the trunk I rushed to help her, Lewin and I set the bags in ours rooms ignoring each other.

I slipped off my dress putting on some shorts and a long sleeve that dipped off my shoulders, everyone was wearing relaxed clothes knowing this was gonna be a eventful night with swimming and hanging around bomb fires.

I knew I'd see Lewin in the kitchen helping the woman prepare snacks and meals it was odd to picture her doing this but I know since she was little she loved cooking and especially for others.

She seemed comfy in sweats that weren't to baggy and a tight black tank-top showing off all her curves, her muscle moved along with her movements I was in awe with my sister.

"Hey Lola" I squealed as I hugged my best friend Helan "let's go and mingle" she winked teasingly I giggle walking towards the back yard the group growing with size as both packs finally arriving.

"These men are flawless" Helan gawked I laughed agreeing with her, many of them had tattoos covering their bodies. "If only they weren't so gruesome and so god damn powerful I'd actually have the nerve to talk to them" Helan said laughing at her own comment.

"I agree!" I smiled glancing around the massive party "Hey beautiful ladies" I heard Chase shouting from behind us "Chase where ya been" I asked already knowing where he's been, his cheeky smile grew "do you really need to ask that Lola" I laughed knowingly I hugged him tightly.

"Those guys over there I think they like you guys" chase announced I glanced where he was looking to see a group of guys watching us.

"Um okay" I shivered the fear prickling back, I noticed Lewin immediately catching lots of attention, the group heading towards her is my biggest fear the most deadly wolves to play with, and she was smiling to them.
