"Grandma, im home!" I said walking into the apartment with Audrey right behind me.

"Hello girls!" she said getting up from the couch to hug us."So Audrey, I heard that you wanted, Jamie, to go with you to a singing place with your mom?"

     "Yes."replied Audrey

"Do you think that I can talk to your mom then?" releasing us from the hug.

"Can we go right now then?"

"Sure." she went to her room and came back out with a light blue jacket with a smaller purple one in her arms."Lets go girls!" she said opening and holding the door for Audrey and I. We walked down the down the stairs and walked behind my apartment, past the blue and yellow park, and turned right to walk into Audrey's apartment.

"Mommy, im home!" yelled Audrey as we walked in.

"Hi sweetie, Jamie, Mrs. Argueta." her mother replied.

"Hello Sue! Do you think we could talk about whats going to happen tomorrow?" asked my grandmother.

"Of course. Audrey, can you take Jamie to your room and listen to some Fall Out Boy incase she comes along?"

"Yes, mommy. Come on,Jamie!" and with that she grabbed my arm and dragged me to her room. I sat on her bed while she went to her cd player and placed a cd inside. "Your going to love them, Jamie." she said returning with pictures of the guys in her hands, pointing at each one telling me who they are."Oh my god, we're gonna have so much tomorrow,  Jamie!" she said throwing the pictures up.

"If my grandma lets me go." I replied

"I know she will, trust me!"

     "Okay."

-----------Grandma's POV-------------

                      * Door shutting *

     "Are they gone?" I asked.

"Yep. So what did you want to talk about? Because I know you're gonna let her go." replied Sue.

"You know me so well. I just needed to tell you something really important." I said with sadness in my voice.

     "Which is?"

"Fernando and I are going to get a divorce." I said not daring to look her in the eyes.

"A divorce with your husband? Why?" asked Sue in a slightly worried and suprized tone.

"The fighting between us has gotten worse and we both think we should end our relationship before it gets worse. Like Jamie's mother and stepdad worse."

"It's starting to get that bad?"

"No but, we just don't want it to get to that point. Im also afraid that I won't be able to take care of Jamie anymore. Im not gonna even be able to keep myself up after."

"Then whats to be of poor Jamie? You can't just abandon her and give her back to her mother!"

"I know, thats why I need your help."

     "What do you mean?"

"I need you to help me get her adopted A.S.A.P."

"Aren't you going to miss her?"

"Of course but, she needs a better life than what we can give her."

"Okay, I get it. I'll help but how are you going to break the news to her? And how's she going to take it? The poor girls only 7."

"I was going to break it to her tonight, before bed."

"Remember, soft and gentle."there was a silent pause for a while."Can start this process tomorrow?"

"Whenever is the best for you."there was another pause."Thank you, Sue."

     "For what?"

     "For helping me, especially Jamie."

"Anything for her and you.Now she better rest up for tomorrow, cuz it's going to be a long night."

"Right. Jamie, it's time to go!" in about 5 seconds Audrey and Jamie came out of the room they were in. I handed Jamie her purple jacket and she put it on in a matter of seconds. "Psst, guess what?" I wispered in her ear.

     "What?" she wispered back.

"You can go tomorrow." Her big, extremely brown eyes, almost black, got even bigger and she squealed and ran to Audrey hugging her yelling yay in unison after she realized Jamie could go with her. After about 5 minuets of happy jumping, we walked out of the apartment and back to ours.
