This cool crisp air surrounds my body.
The spooky sense of a Halloween night.
Kids knocking from door to door.
The eerie noise of the ghouls and ghosts.

Leaves, crunchy, plastered in red, orange, brown.
Fall to the ground and fill the streets.
All the house lights scattered across the block.
The sweet scent of a pumpkin aroma.

Walking with friends, or walking with foes.
Everyone's gathered together in this black-shot sky.
And even if it may seem strange for some,
This is one of the best days for many.

Just to be gathered together,
And walk from door to door.
Happily say trick-or-treat!
And fill their buckets with sweets galore.

Then walk away with a smile on their face,
Showing each other the candy received.
This is a happy holiday.
One many kids enjoy indeed.

And when the night ends and the sun rises,
Joyful children rush back home.
Eat some candy and go to bed,
and wait for the leaves to turn again red.

Thinking back to that beautiful night,
Is what they all do upon waking up,
Many smile at the faint memories,
Nothing was better than that,

halloween breeze. /x/
