You made me feel secure.
You made me comfortable.
You made me feel welcomed.
Behind all of this,
Was a secret I never knew.
Behind all of this,
Was a person I never saw.
I thought you listened.
I thought you cared.
I thought you heard my cries.
I thought you were there for me.
But when you listened, you had no regard for me.
But when you cared, it was to get me to be quiet.
But when you heard my cries, it was only because they were strong.
But when you were there for me, it was for the fact you were bored.
