The one who stayed //Sonadow//

Chapter six.

PREVIOUSLY:

Sonic wouldn't have it, though. He let out a frustrated groan and pulled Shadow back down, pulling their bodies close once more by doing so. Sonic was savoring the feeling and he wasn't letting go. "Why not do something with me" Sonic stated bluntly, not asking.

He had Shadow wrapped around his finger now, but then again, Shadow always had something up his sleeve to make the blue one writhe. He was planning on doing just that.

Shadow leaned closer to the blue hero underneath him, smirking slyly as he stared straight at emerald eyes. Those eyes stared back, round and wide. "I don't know..." Shadow whispered deeply, watching as lustful emotions quickly swirled in Sonic's eyes before fading away as a cross look took their place.

"Come on Shads, I just confessed to liking you." The blue hero whined, pushing his bottom lip out in a pout. Shadow couldn't help but admit that, even if the pout didn't faze him in any way, it was cute to see Sonic pull that off.

"You did?" the dark hedgehog joked, his voice slightly playful, "I didn't hear you."

"Yes you did faker." Sonic groaned out, pouting deeper as he threw a punch at Shadow's chest. The punch felt like nothing, even with all the irritation loaded behind it.

A deep chuckle left Shadow's lips.

"A hero like you should have no time for me." The ultimate lifeform whispered, leaning down to kiss the blue painless quills on top of Sonic's head. "And a villain like you shouldn't have any time for me."

Shadow looked down at the hero. His eye ridges were raised and he was staring knowingly at crimson orbs. The so-called-villain rolled his eyes. "I hardly see myself as a villain...even if I was created to be that way."

"I know," Sonic said as a dark crimson blush flooded his peach cheeks. He also held a teasing smirk on those soft lips, but that didn't make Shadow dismiss the hero's enflamed cheeks. "but you're my bad boy."

Shadow smirked back. "Oh? Who says I am?"

"I do." Sonic whispered, his voice cocky and extremely seductive. The ultimate lifeform tried his best to seem unfazed by it, but in truth, Sonic's voice sent a rush of heat through him. Shadow moved closer, leaning his body against the blue hero. "So, I'm your bad boy for life or just for now?" he whispered, his voice deep and alluring.

Sonic visibly shivered as a purr emitted from his chest. "I have to think about it."

"I'll help you decide." Shadow uttered as he closed off all the space keeping them apart, placing his tan lips to soft peach ones. Sonic moaned into the kiss and wrapped his arms tightly around Shadow's neck and shoulders, turning the small kiss passionate as the blue hero tried to get every inch of Shadow.

Sonic tilted his head to get more of the kiss but Shadow pulled away, placing small kisses on the side of the blue one's neck and down along his shoulder. With each kiss Shadow could feel the heat building up under Sonic's fur. He could hear it too as Sonic breathed heavier with each kiss.

"mmm sh-Shadow.." The blue hero moaned out, making the dark hedgehog smirk against his blue neck. "Maybe I should wake you up at dawn more often."

"mph...yes...please" Sonic mewled as he bucked his hips to grind his lower half against Shadow, gasping at the feeling. Shadow also gasped at the sudden rush, but he was stiller about it. "Well...I'll come back tomorrow then."

The blue hedgehog nodded his head, completely in a daze. "I can't wait."

Shadow nodded back and turned his head up, kissing the blue hero without a second thought. Sonic, as he kissed back, couldn't help but to  continuously bring Shadow even closer.

"Hmmm I should probably let you go be a hero," Shadow pecked peach lips, "I heard 'Eggman' was becoming a nuisance again."

The blue hedgehog whimpers. Even still, he pecked Shadow's tan lips back. "I will beat his ass if he tries anything" he hissed, slightly vexed due to the mention of Eggman quickly shattering a surreal moment with Shadow THE Hedgehog. Like seriously, Sonic groaned in his thoughts, who knows if we will ever get another moment like this.

Shadow had a way of making it work in Sonic's favor, though. "When you kick him to the moon I will give you a reward for it."

The blue hedgehog purred at the sound of that, placing his lips to Shadow's neck, "What kind of reward?" he wondered as he sucked on the dark hedgehogs' neck who let out a deep huff in reaction.

"You'll find out." Shadow replied, breathlessly. Sonic released Shadow's neck with a suction sound, licking his dark fur before pulling away. "I'll be waiting Shads."

"Well you can't get it if you're here and he's out there, can you?" a smirk crossed his lips as he pulled away from the hero, admiring his bright blue coat before stepping back. A sigh left peach lips. "It's too early for this" Sonic yawned, standing up and raising his arms up over his head, stretching.

"Evil doesn't rest blue." Shadow chuckled, letting a nickname slip accidently. Fortunately, Sonic looked past it. "Unfortunately hero's do." the said hero huffed, walking to his bedroom door with a lacking bounce to his step.

The ultimate lifeform shook his head. He moved silently, and skillfully, to Sonic's side and grabbed his hand. "Then let's go together, hero."

Emerald eyes glanced back at crimson ones, amazed at how different Shadow was then what he actually expected him to be. Holding him, kissing him, calling him nice things and offering to help all in one morning. Maybe he's right, Sonic thought, maybe I do judge too quick.

"You...want to fight with me?"

"What? I have to pay him back for all those times he managed to land a hit on you."

That smirk that crossed Shadow's face just then made Sonic think; did he actually care? The smirk threw him off but the sincerity in his eyes held the hero to the conclusion that he did care, maybe in his own silent way, but he cared nonetheless.

It made Sonic happy. "How cute," he chuckled as he opens his front door, looking out to the early morning, "but I accept."

"Not. Cute." Shadow grumbled and the speedster could almost feel the playful glare sent his way by crimson eyes. "Whatever Shads." Sonic rolled his eyes as he walked outside, still holding onto Shadow's hand.

Sonic never realized how calming the early morning was. The sun wasn't even up past the horizon yet; it was barely hanging above the tree line in the distance.

The way the sun glistened through the leaves, sparkling the early morning precipitation on the grass gave a feeling so surreal it shocked the speedster when he still felt Shadow's hand holding his. Maybe this was what he needed to see. The simple things in life missed due to going too fast, and that was strange to admit for Sonic; the fastest thing alive.

Shadow always got up so early, Sonic thought, this had to be a reason why.

He glanced at Shadow from the corner of his eye, watching him. The so-called-emotionless-being looked so calm with the early morning sun washing over his black and ruby red coat. His crimson eyes intently trained on the world in front of him.

Wanting to get back on track so he could spend a day alone with the dark hedgehog, Sonic asked; "Where is Eggman exactly?"

"Look up." Shadow told the hero, who wasn't paying attention to his surroundings, and pointed up where Eggman was quickly approaching just over the vast collection of pine tree's.

(A/N~ Sorry that this chapter isn't as long as the previous one. I have a large project I need to get done before Monday so I had to make this chapter shorter to conserve time.
