Startraveler jumped down on top of her brother, Shadowhunter. "Ahh!" He turned over and pinned her down. He was fast, but she was faster. Startraveler shoved him and he fell off of her. She flapped her wings, trying to gain air, but she was held down by the tail, so she ended up hovering. She looked back to see her little sister, Soulsaver, holding on with all of her strength, but her grip was slipping and Shadowhunter was shaking himself off. Startraveler flapped even harder and she felt a second pair of talons grab her. She was getting dangerously tired but she started to feel Shadowhunter's grip slipping and could no longer feel Soulsaver's talons. She was flapping as fast and as hard as she could to gain air. Finally, talons slipped off her tail and she was launched into the treetops. "Ooww!" Startraveler rammed head first into a tree branch and Soulsaver and Shadowhunter leaped onto the branches next to her, growling. Startraveler shook her head fast and started leaping away when her mother called to her. She jumped down as Shadowhunter and Soulsaver both fell out of the treetops. She felt bad that they couldn't leap from branch to branch like her. She held out a talon to help Shadowhunter and he took it. Then they helped Soulsaver who was groaning like an ill RainWing. Her arm had a long scratch which was bleeding. Startraveler started helping her walk to the RainWing healers when Startraveler thought she smelled smoke.
