Chapter 35

Well, it's three in the morning and I'm at the hospital. The stupid syndrome got to me again. Tae found me shaking on the kitchen floor and brought me to the hospital immediately with Taeguk. We got the baby checked and it's fine. For now.

"Will I be okay?" I asked Tae.

"You'll be fine. Nothing will happen. The baby is okay, so you have to be okay." he smiled, holding my hand.

Mark and Eunji came to pick up Taeguk for the night. I was so thankful of those two. They always helped us when we needed them.

"Kim Hyejin?" the doctor said, knocking on the door.

I sat up as she came in.

"Everything is okay. Your syndrome seems to be getting better with that baby inside you." the doctor smiled.

"Really? But does that mean my baby will have the syndrome as well?" I asked.

"No, he won't. Everything is okay with him." she replied.

I nodded in relief but stopped when I replayed those words in my head. Him?

"It's a boy?" Taehyung and I said at the same time.

The doctor nodded and smiled.

"Congratulations!" she smiled.

I squealed and hugged Tae. He kissed my forehead and was laughing the whole time. I've never seen him so happy. I pulled away and thanked the doctor. I pulled out my phone and texted the boys.

"It's a boy!!!!"

I immediately got replies.

"YASSSSS." - J-Hope

"That's awesome! I wonder who he's going to look like more.." - Jungkook

"Baby boy! Forget about my jams, I'm making sure he's got jams. Even if it means giving him mine." - Jimin

"Congratulations! I'm so happy for you both. And Taeguk :)" - Yoongi

"I'm going to buy him pink things so he'll be like me." - Jin

"I'm so happy for you guys. You guys are going to be parents of two children. It won't be easy, but I know that you guys can do it. I don't have any experience with raising kids but you've done so well with Taeguk. I'm sure your baby boy will be just like her." - Namjoon.

"Namjoon and his long speeches." Taehyung said, shaking his head.

I laughed and thanked them all.

Taehyung and I headed home to get some rest before we picked Taeguk up in a few hours.

I showered and so did Taehyung. I hated smelling like the hospital and the hospital was full of germs. I didn't want any of them on the bed. I crawled into bed and closed my eyes. I was really tired but I wanted to stay up with Taehyung to talk about our baby boy.

"You can go to sleep first. I still need to brush my teeth." he whispered, kissing my forehead.

I nodded and let myself drift off.

I woke up around eleven and felt Taehyung's arms around my waist. I smiled and snuggled into him. He was my heater and he always hugged me tight enough so I was comfortable.

"You up already?" he said groggily.

"Yeah." I replied.

He flipped me around so I was facing him but there was a little gap between us. He smiled and giggled, giving me a square smile. I smiled back and he looked down at my swollen belly.
