Colette stared at herself in the mirror, absentmindedly fixing her hair and wondering why her reflection looked so blurry. Her eyes flickered down to the eyeglasses that were on the counter.
"Duh, Colette," she said to herself, putting the glasses on. "Jesus Christ, girl, you're losing it."
She looked up at the mirror again, and sighed audibly, hating her appearance that much more. She hated her glasses, but she was feeling too lazy to bother with contacts.
Christian would have told her that she looked beautiful.
("augh, i hate my glasses," she said, setting the damned things on her face.
"why?" christian asked. "you look so cute in them."
"stop lying," she said.
"yes you do. they make you look like a really sexy librarian."
"you're just trying to butter me up so you can have sex with me."
"the thought never crossed my mind," christian said innocently.
"well, come here, because i'm trying to have sex with you," colette had said to him in a sultry tone.
"you don't have to ask me twice.")
Colette sighed again audibly.
"Time to start the day," she said to herself, leaving the bathroom.
