Chapter 18

Hey guys it's me DarkWolf283 and those of you who are still reading thx BraidenDecker for the support. Follow him because you can and thanks for all the support... So yeah let's get into the chapter.

*Chapter eighteen*

1st person (Elizabeth)

When I get in there and figure out who killed silver I'm going to kill that person! SIVER IS THE REASON IM A WEREWOLF! SHES THE REASON LILY IS A WEREWOLF! SILVER WAS MY FRIEND!

I burst into the room and in the middle of it stood a witch. She was wearing a purple robe and held a staff with a wolf skull on top of it. I ran at her but she just lifted her staff and I flew back. I didn't care. Silver was my friend.

"YOU. KILLED. SILVER!" I ran at her and before she could lift her staff I swerved to the right and the changed back into a human. She was so confused I changed back and jumped at her from behind. By the time I got my jaws around her neck she realized what was going on.

"MY SISTER WILL AVENGE MY DEATH!" That's all was to be heard before I bit down. No one hurts my friends and gets away with it. No one!

"Elizabeth! Are out ok?" I changed back and looked down. I seemed to be bleeding from my chest. I went to the pack nurse and she opened her mouth to speak but closed it again. A few moments later she spoke.

"It's a Wolfsbane spell. It can only be reversed by a spirit wolf... Silver was one of the only. There is one other way." What does that mean? What is Wolfsbane?

"Wolfsbane is a rare liquid that will slowly harm werewolves. It will grow increasingly worse unless you either find your mate or another spirit wolf." Did she just say mate? How long do I have? How do you find a spirit wolf?

I went straight to Silver's brother. He was whimpering in wolf form. I went over.

"Are you ok?"

"Y-yes" I felt so bad for him I almost forgot about the Wolfsbane.

"Silver was my friend. I hope he's... In a better place." I don't know what to say to someone who just lost their only brother.

"How are you guys f-friends."

"I was an animal care person and one night when I was eight I saw him. I saved his life. I think I did at least. He gave me the power of being a werewolf. Was he really hurt if he had been shot in his paw? Or was it a test?"

"Silver w-was talking about testing people he thought w-were nice." So he wasn't rally hurt. He was testing me. And I was rewarded.

"His job as a spirit wolf was to make sure werewolves don't die out and give the nicest people the power of a werewolf. Apparently he thought you were nice. And powerful." If he tried to give you the power and he couldn't it would mean that you weren't worthy of being a werewolf or that you just using him."

"Are you sure your okay?"

"Yeah."

"Okay."

"How do you find a spirit wolf?"

"You need to look in places you've seen them before. Silver will be reborn in the area you found him as a new wolf. He may remember you but it will be a one out of a hundred lives chance. Why do you ask?"

"Because... I have a Wolfsbane spell carted on me."

"But he's not strong enough to reverse that! He can't reverse a powerful spell such as that with a wolf pup. Your only chance is to find your mate!" But how? Where would I find my mate.

"But how?"

"All you need to do is look in your head and think mate. It will be like a lightbulb going off in your brain." I did what he said and felt a rush of warm air come over me. I closed my eyes and my head turned by itself. I looked forward and saw I was looking at a pack werewolf. To show if it was real I did it shown from another spot.

My head pointed straight towards the door now.

"You looking towards The Full Moon Pack. We need to go now. It's a few miles that way." I went to Lily and to,d her what was got on.

"I'm going to The Full Moon Pack to find my mate. If you want you can come too."

"How do you know he's there?"

"Silver's brother told me. You just close your eyes and think mate hard." She did what I said and her head turn straight towards The Full Moon Pack.

"That's odd but ok. Now we can both go find our mates." We got outside and before we could start moving we heard a slight growl. A branch snapped.

"Get down." Silver's brother whisper yelled at us. Before we could get down a giant mountain lion leaped out of the forest.

"WHAT THE!?" I don't think mountain lions are supposed to attack wolves in the middle of a forest. Heck I don't even think they live in forests!
