Chapter 22

*Chapter twenty-two*

1st person (Elizabeth)

"So we going to meet the pack now?"

"Oh. Yeah! Let's go." I followed Nick and his parents out the door that led to a large clearing outside of the pack house. As soon as we turned the corner I saw a stunning amount of people sitting there. We walked up to them and Nick's mom spoke.

"This is Nick's mate, Elizabeth. And this is Jakes mate, Lily. I know all of you are wondering how Lily and Elizabeth are werewolves because they didn't used to be. But maybe Lily or Elizabeth can tell you that,"

"Well..." I stood there overwhelmed by the huge crowd of people looking at me and expecting to hear some great story.

"My parents were sort of drunks and I had set up and animal care center in my room. One day I was coming home from school and I... Stumbled upon Silver. I don't know how many of you know what he was doing but apparently he was looking for someone to make them be a werewolf."

"I went to live as Lily's 'pet' wolf for about five years and then we found a book that contained information about werewolves and that I could make Lily a werewolf. So... That was yesterday and. Rogues came. Lots of rogues. Also witches." I was starting to feel more comfortable with talking to the large crowd.

"Silver was... Killed by a witch." I heard a lot of gasps and I think one person started crying/whimpering.

"I killed the witch almost instantly after that... But not before the witch castes a Wolfsbane spell. And that's why I'm here in the first place and... Yeah, that's what's been going on." Once people got over Silver's death they came up one by one and introduced themselves. I'd probably forget half of them within the next few minutes. Maybe a little more.

"Oh, hi!"

"...Hi" a girl had walked up to me. She looked to be about six or seven. She seemed quite shy.

"What's your name?"

"Huntress." That's a pretty cool name. I mean huntress sounds awesome. Especially for a werewolf.

"That's a cool name. Do you like it?"

"Yes" her voice was so quiet I almost couldn't hear her. Her eyes were a beautiful shade of blue and her hair was long and black.

"I see you've met Huntress!"

"Yeah. I have. How do you remember all the names?"

"I don't. Not really. Huntress is my sister. Well... Now your sister too."

"Oh! No wonder..."

"Yeah. She's not usually shy but... Your her, sister so... Yeah. I guess it's a little new for get to just randomly meet her sister." I guess that Makes sense.

Well obviously it makes sense. If you just randomly were meeting your sister what would you do?

That probably a good point...

Probably? Just ,probably?

Ok fine that's a really good point. Happy now? I could literally feel the grin on her face.

YUP

"Hey, Elizabeth. You there?"

"Oh yeah sorry... My wolf, Crystal. Whatever."
