Over the past week that Lisa and Harper had been together, she knew he was not like other boys. All he ever gave her were sweet kisses and a look of adoration in his eyes. He was still quiet, not once had he expressed his feelings for her again, she supposed his actions said enough.

She had also begun to see him less, spending more time with her friends and he needed to finish off fixing Gladis' help, but when they did find time for one another, it was like no one else existed. Like they had escaped to their own little paradise where everything smelt like a garden after rain and it was bright everywhere and it was perfect because it was just the two of them there.

Never in her life had Lisa felt so complete, when he held her it felt as if he was holding onto his last breath, never wanting to let go and when she was near him she could feel her heart accelerate to a point where she could swear the world around her could hear it.

He was bringing out the best in her and she couldn't be happier.

The only bad thing was Chantelle. She had not brightened in the least and hadn't given Lisa a reason for her sudden loss in the faith of love. She had become angrier and possessive almost of Lisa, getting jealous if Lisa spent too much time with Harper when on the contrary, Lisa had spent more time with Chantelle than with the boy she now claimed as her own.

Even sitting in her room now she could sense Chantelle's hostility towards her, it was like a cloud that hung over the whole room and wouldn't vanish. Chantelle had refused to go spend time with friends and couldn't even face Cole. Cole had been everything to her, he had been her rock and now she didn't even want to see him.

He had not looked good either when Lisa had gone to visit the boys, constantly asking whether or not Chantelle was all right, pleading with Lisa to call her just so he could hear her voice. Cole was like her brother, if she hurt, he hurt and he hated being away from her for too long.

"Won't you tell me what's wrong?" Lisa finally exhaled, looking at Chantelle expectantly.

Chantelle gave Lisa the same flat look that Jamie had when she had gone to see him, he was always so bitter lately as well. What had she done to anger her friends so much?

"Do you not like Harper? Cause you and Jamie are both angry at me for some reason and it's really frustrating." Lisa admitted, she had been trying to be supportive and helping Chantelle out but enough is enough.

"He's fine, I'm not angry."

"Well if it's not Harper, then what's gotten into you and Jamie?" As soon as Lisa said the words she nearly sprung to her feet with realisation. "You like Jamie."

When Chantelle didn't say a word it was a confirmation in Lisa's eyes.

"Why are you upset then?" Lisa asked. "I mean Jamie's single and you can go for him."

"Because, like every other guy in the goddamn town, he only had eyes for you!" Chantelle hissed, her eyes had gone stern and aggressive towards her best friend.

"Me?" Lisa stifled a laugh, knowing she would get her head bitten off if she did not control herself.

"Yes you with your damn purple eyes and blonde hair, it's like I just can't catch a break here." Chantelle got up and leaned against the far wall in Lisa's room.

"Chantelle, I have a boyfriend who I adore and Jamie has only ever had eyes for one chick in this goddamn town and that's you." Lisa rolled her eyes in amusement, the concept of Jamie even liking her in that way making her smile. Jamie had made sure she knew he only ever liked Chantelle. "That's why he's always hanging on you and asking you to dance at parties."
