Chapter Twenty Two.

ELSA'S P-O-V

"He can't be trusted Anna! " I shouted. "Hans would just probably kill us and that is going to be our end."

Anna sighed. "Elsa!  It's our only chance on surviving this."

"He wanted to kill Jack!" I reminded her. "He wanted him gone."

Anna sighed. "Hans still cared about you Elsa. Can't you see that?"

"No." I shook my head. "He wanted me to be distracted.  That is what it is."

"Elsa, we need to do this." She whispered. "I don't want to die and leave Kristoff. I want to take as much risk as possible to survive. I want you to live. Don't be too much blinded by your love for Jack. I want you to be sensible Elsa. We don't want to lose someone we love."              

I sighed in defeat. "How do you plan on doing this?"

"Simple,  contact him." She answered.

"What?! The last time that I talked to him is that he wanted me to have my distance from Jack!" I rolled my eyes.

"Then there is a way that you can do it." She said.

"And what is that?"

She smirked. "Break up with Jack Frost."

Jack and I are in our bedroom and I told him about the plan.
He seems upset.

"You are not going to talk to him." Jack argued. "Do you Wanna die?"

"I am doing this for me not to die." I said. "Jack. This is the only way to pass this consequence! If I didn't grab this chance then we are all screwed!"

"And you want to act like we are not 'together'? Hans Wanted to kill me just by spending time with you!" He frowned. "And now you are going to grant his wish? Just kill me now,  I am not going to break up with you even if it is just an act or not." 

"Why are you being so selfish all of a sudden?" I asked. "I thought you  wanted me to live. Why are you doing this?"

He sighed. "Elsa, I wanted you to survive. I wanted you to live because I love you. I wasted months crying because of you. I gave up my normal life for us to be together and now you wanted to act like we are not 'together' for you to talk to your awesome ex  because he is still in love with you?"

"Jack. I love you too but this is the only way for me to survive." I reminded him. "Do you want me dead?"

"Are you still in love with your ex?" He asked.

"Why would you think that?"

He sighed. "Just answer the question Elsa."

I didn't answer. I can't feel my lips from moving.  I am not in love with Hans. It is just that his question taken me by surprise.

"That is it. We are through." He said. "And this is not just an act. You can't answer. I will take that as a yes."
He walked out of the door while a loud bang was heard when he closed the door behind him. I can't help but to cry.

How can Jack thought something like that? I love Jack more than my life and yet he still thought something like that?
I sat on the floor and buried my face on my knees crying.

Jack's P-O-V

I don't know what had gotten into me. I broke up with the love of my life. Why would I do something like that?

You're so stupid Jack. Why do you say something like that to Elsa?

I sat on the couch in the living room and sobbed quietly.

Hiccup and Merida came from the kitchen while sitting beside me.

"Hey lad,  are you okay?" Merida asked.

I nodded. "Yeah. I am fine."

"Then why in the hell are you crying?" Merida frowned. "Something happened between you and Elsa?"

"We broke up." I answered. "I broke up with her."

"What??!!!" Hiccup blurted out. "Why the hell did you do that?!"

"She wanted to act like we are not together because of Hans for her to talk to him." I said."i cant do that!"

"Seriously?" Merida rolled her eyes. "You broke up with your girl because you don't want her to talk to her ex to save her and her sister's life? You have got to be kidding me,  Mr. Frost."

"Bud. You and Elsa have been through a lot! Why give up on her that easily?" Hiccup sighed. "I know that you are jealous but it doesn't change the fact that she needs to do this."

I shook my head. "I don't know Hiccup. I really don't know."

"Think about it Jack. She is just trying to protect not only you but her sister too." He pointed out. "She owns you,  not only by your heart but her tracker is still in you Jackie."

"I don't know." I sobbed.

"Hey. We are here for you Frosthead. Don't cry there like a baby." Merida tried go comfort me. "You know that Elsa loves you so stop that."

I didn't answer.

What kind of chaotic mind I have right now?  Idiot Jack. You're such an idiot.

Hiccup's P-O-V

I was sitting on the couch with Jack and after the conversation.

"I am going to talk to your girl,  Jack." I said.

"She is not my girl anymore." He mumbled.

I sighed. "She is still your girl."

He just lowered his head and I went to their room where Elsa stayed.

I knocked on the door. "Elsa?  It's me."

"Come in." A voice said softly.

I turned the knob and open the door. She is sitting on the floor and her face is still overwhelmed by tears.
I sat beside her.

"You okay?" I asked her.

She nodded. "I'm trying to be okay."

"You know that Jack still loves you,  right?  It's not too late to talk to him now." I suggested. "You two can straighten this out."

She shook her head. "It is my fault. I can't do anything about it. Maybe I deserve to die. Maybe I deserve to be gone. I am just going to kill myself to save all of you from trouble."

"Don't think something like that Elsa." I frowned. "We love you. Jack loves you. That is why he acted like that."

"I hope I didn't just fall for him that easy. Maybe we are not in this situation. Maybe he is happy with Punzie." She murmured. "This is all my fault."

"It's not. Stop saying that."

"I feel like it." She whispered. "I just want him to be happy."

"He is happy with you Elsa."
