Chapter 33

I just finished a warm shower. The old man called me in for a 9 am appointment. I think I'm about to get fired with all the trouble i've caused this month.

I've been inside this freaking house for a week, and never allowed to go out because, 'It's not safe for me'.

I mean, what are they talking about?! Korea is safe! Exo hired an assistant manager. So I'm basically on a leave.

"Ms. Song Ji Hyo. Don't forget, 9 am"

The secretary texted. I groomed up real quick and left the house.

"Good Morni..."

"Good Morning!"

Its the first time i've greeted his staff.

"The president is waiting for you"

i opened the door and there he was again, at his chair, staring at his glass window.

"The staff's bought us some breakfast... come sit and we'll eat a little later"

"Are you going to fire me?"

"With all the mess you've been in? I might. But the boys came yesterday. I told them i was going to fire you but they begged me not to"

"Why would they do that?"

"Congratulations my dear, you got yourselves some good friends."

He turned his chair on me and gave me claps. I swear I don't trust this man. What if he staged the kidnap. I mean? Who knows right? The food came and we ate in silence on his table.

"If you want to quit, you can just tell me, I'll debut you as an actress instead. Or an idol perhaps? I've been planning to set up a new girl group for quite some time"

"No, thank you. I'm okay with my job"

"It's been a long time since we had breakfast together"

"Been a long time indeed"

I checked on my phone and I got a text from Chanyeol. That's the first text I received from them since they locked me up in my room.

"Who's that?"

"It's Chanyeol. He's inviting me to this area. I think we're going on a camp..."

I said as I replied 'Okay' to Channie's text.

"By the way, are you still with Gikwang?"

My heart dropped when I heard his name again. Not a word from him ever since the incident at the café.

"We're over. He's totally fallen for Seolhyun."

"That's sad"

"No it's not. People fall out of love just as fast as they fall in love. That's why you're divorced"

"And you really don't pass up a chance to insult me." I just shrugged.

"Anyway, I was able to get a new property. With all the scandals going on, i planned on getting those kids out of the apartment complex and into a new house."

"That's nice..."

"It's in a private neighborhood, it's closer to where my house is and I'd be able to check on them If i wanted to. The kids have been earning big money and if they agreed to this, we'll get them transferred immediately"

"Oh! That sounds so perfect...! Now what's the catch?"

"There's no catch. First Half of the fees of the house, i'd be willing to pay, and the rest will be shouldered by those kids. It won't be a big deal for them. They make a lot of money."
