The carriage horses were worked up . They were pawing the ground and snorting . Sherlock walked around one horse and checked it's ears and neck .
Lestrade walked up to Sherlock .
" what is it sherlock , the horses are fine "
" this one isn't , notice Lestrade that she is slower than the others and her head is drooping " sherlock checked over the horses legs " ah here we are " sherlock stood . " Lestrade there's a telegraph two house's down tell one of your boys to get a vet this horse has been poisoned " sherlock looked at Phoenix who was talking to Donovan .
Phoenix walked back over to sherlock while John was arguing with Anderson over letting sherlock check the crime scene .
" sherlock , the horse " Phoenix started .
" yes , she's been poisoned "
" why would someone poison a horse "
" they were aiming for the carriage driver not the horse , they missed there shot " sherlock sighed .
Sherlock stood and looked at Phoenix and he whispered " Look at the man in black in the corner " Phoenix did " he is carrying a gun in his back pocket can you disarm him before he shoots someone " Phoenix looks at him .
" I can " she pauses " SHERLOCK LOOK OUT " Phoenix screamed and grabbed his coat and pulled him out of the road and her and sherlock fall to the ground . Just as they hit the ground a horse carriage comes flying passed with no driver .
" shit " john yelled .

Time skip

" sherlock are you ok " Phoenix asked as she leaned over him .Sherlock looked around he was in a hospital bed with some weird thing stuck in his arm he looked at Phoenix .
" what the hell happened Phoenix " sherlock asked .
