The Nerdy and The Cold Princess

"Why is that I have to suffer from pain like this? Why is that all I can feel in my heart is pain and anger?" I said as look up and stare at the clouds.

I have a friend. She's Mary Ayen Esguerra, Mae for short. Heir of Esguerra Inc., She's also only child. We've been together for ten years, and she also knows my story. Our parents are business partners back then, unlike me Mae's loved by her parents. They love Mae more than anything else, unlike my parents.

Sometimes I'm comparing myself with her, magkaibang magkaiba kami. Masayahin, Palakaibigan, Mabait, Down-to-earth, lahat na ng magandang katangian ng isang babae nasa kanya na.

Ako? Kinatatakutan ng marami, walang ekspresiyon ang mukha, walang kinakasalamuhang ibang tao maliban sa mga taong malapit sa akin, at higit sa lahat... babaeng puno ng galit at hinanakit.

I'm still listening to my music when suddenly someone's calling on my phone...

"Mary_Ayen Mae calling..." as I look at the screen of my phone.

"Where are you?" She said as I answer the call.

"Is that how you say 'hello' ?" I said in sarcasm.

"Be serious this time, Ysabella Theone Harrison Smith." She said. I can feel that she's so damn serious.

"Why?" I said seriously.

"Why is that you didn't go to school today. I'm looking for you." She said this time I can feel that she's worried.

"I'm just here... I just needed some fresh air." I said and look straight to the sea.

"Ah ok. Be safe. I'll call you later. Ok?" She said

"Ok. Bye." I said as I ended the call.

I check the time it's already 4 o'clock in the afternoon. I didn't notice the time. Besides I love the view it was so relaxing. I think I should bring Nanay Eva here some time for now I have to leave this place 'coz I have something to do.

"Bye for now. I'll go back here." I said as I stand up and carry my bag. As I walk towards my car one of the trees here caught my attention.

"Prince Kevin loves Ysabella Theone" as I read what is written in this tree, some memories automatically flashbacked.

"Ysa! I think we should write our names in this tree." He said while his one hand holds mine and the other one is pointing on the tree infront of us.

"You think so?" I asked as I raise my left eyebrow.

"Yes. Dad said it's the oldest tree among all of the trees here in Japanese Garden." He said as she looks straight into my eyes.

"But we're going to hurt that tree." I said pouting my lips and feels sad about his idea.

"Oh how cute my princess. Don't be sad. We're just writing our names here." He said smiling at me.
