Ysa's POV

As I was trying to listen to this freaking teacher in math infront of us my focus isn't here. I was still wondering why did that Joshua came here and worst he's going to study here for the rest of his high school. Tch. That bullshit jerk! He's the freaking reason why my best friend cried a thousand times. I hate him. Ayoko siyang mapalapit kay Mae ulit. Not today, not tomorrow, NOT EVER! Ayokong umiyak ulit si Mae, it freaking hurts. Seeing your best friend cry is more painful than seeing your neighborhood's crying.

I tried to remove my thoughts I have to focus but I freaking can't. When suddenly I felt my phone vibrated so, I took it out of my skirts pocket. It's a message from Mae.

'Ysa, How r u? Ays ka pa b? Haha.' Seriously? Alam naman niyang hate ko ang math. Alam niya kung ano yung mga bagay na nakakapagpainis sakin. I decided to reply.

'Tch. I wanna go out here. -,-' It's true. I wanna go out here. I want to refresh my mind from anything that keeps thinking non sense thoughts.

'Hnihintay ko lng c Joshua tas pnta na kmi diyan' She replied. Di na ako nag-reply, kasi alam ko naman na pupunta na rin yun dito.

Di na ko nakinig sa discussion, kaya tumingin nalang ako sa bintana. Tinitingnan yung mga estudyanteng nakatambay lang, may mga naglalakad, may nagtatawanan. Hays, 'nung ako yung school president wala kang makikitamg estudyante sa oras ng klase lahat nasa classroom. Di kasi masyadong nags-strikto si Mae. Ganun siguro talaga yung strategy niya.

Nakatingin parin ako sa labas ng maalala ko na ngayon pala uuwi parents ko. Again. After couple of days or week they're going to leave again for their business trip. Tch. As always. -.-

My phone vibrated again and it's from Nanay Eva.

'Hija, pwede bang mag-half day ka nalang? Lunch ang dating ng mga magulang mo.' Nanay Eva texted.

'Yea. Sure, 'nay. I'll be home at 12nn.' I replied. Psh.

Nanay Eva didn't reply. It'll going to be more boring. Tss.

I was taken a back into the reality when our math teacher stop and two persons infront of the door is looking at everyone. Yes, it was Mae and Joshua.

Mae walk towards our math teacher and whisper something that made our teacher nod and smile.

"So, Mister. Please, introduce yourself." Said our math teacher smiling. Mae walk towards me and seated at my right side.

"Hi...I'm Nate Joshua Arkeen Hanes. New transferee here at Charles Green Academy." She bow a little bit and smile at everyone. A genuine one. Psh. Boring.

"You can now sit beside Ms. SP." said Mrs. Dima O. Takan and motioned Joshua to seat.

"OMG. Ampogi niya."

"He's cute."

"I think I like him na."

Girls murmuring. Psh. He's a jerk for your information guys. I roamed my eyes all over my classmates and uh...some of them isn't blinking, seriously? All attention is on you, Joshua. Tss.

"Ayos ka pa ba, Ysa?" Said Mae when she finally seated beside me.

"Hi, Belle." I looked at him and he smile. Aish. This jerk!

Instead of greeting him back I just ignore him. Sayang laway.

TWO subjects had past and it's recess time. Finally. I stretched my arms wide open and yawn. That was boring. Two more subjects and i'll go home.

"Ysa, let's go." Pag-aaya sakin ni Mae. Dalawa nalang pala kaming naiwan dito sa room. Buti nalang, akala ko hanggang sa pagkain kasabay yung Joshua na 'yun.

"Let's go." And we leave the room.

Nilakad namin ang daan papuntang cafeteria nang maisipan kong sabihin kay Mae na magha-half day lang ako.

"I'll be absent later this afternoon," as I said not looking at her and took a deep breath before looking at her.

"They're coming." Saka binalik na ulit sa harap ang atensyon ko at nagpatuloy sa paglalakad naramdaman ko naman na nakasunod siya. Alam naman niya kung sino tinutukoy ko.

"So, you are going to ignore them na parang strangers ulit?" she asked. Hay. Kilalang-kilala niya talaga ako. Ano nga bang gagawin ko? Silent mode na naman? Di magsasalita pag kinakausap? E, kung ipatahi ko nalang kaya 'tong bibig ko tapos ipatanggal ko nalang 'pag umalis na sila? Ano sa tingin mo?

"Idk. I'll be casual. Like how I used to be everytime they are at home." Pretend not hearing anything from them. That would be a good one.

We didn't notice that we just entered the cafeteria and I just decided to find a table for us. Mae, knows my order, anyways. Nung makahanap na ako ng puwesto para samin ni Mae naupo na ako saka tumingin nalang sa gilid since sa dulong part naman yung nahanap kong puwesto namin ni Mae saka glass wall kaya ayos lang. Pinatong ko sa lamesa ang kamay ko saka pinaglaruan.

"Kilala mo si Nathan Bermudez, diba, beshung?" Beshung? What is that kind of word? May ganun pala.

"Yung si Mr. Smiley face na best friend ni Aki babes na kaklase ni former Ms. SP and ni Ms. SP. O, bakit?" the other girl replied.

"May kumakalat na chikas, beshung." sabi pa nung naunang nagsalita. Di ako nag-i-eavesdrop, ha. Sadyang naririnig ko lang pinag-uusapan nila. Kung bakit kasi ang tagal ni Mae um-order.

"OMG! Talaga? Ano 'yun?" parang kinikilig pa na ewan. Tss.

"May kumalat na picture. May buhat siyang girl 2 or 3 day ago na. And take note bridal style and walang malay si girl." I don't know that Nathan who ever he is, is our classmate, really. And he's best friend is Aki? E, that's Joshua, e.
Okay, ako na chismosa. Psh.

"Hoy, Ysa. Anong iniisip mo na naman?" Biglang sabi ni Mae. Di ko namalayan pagdating niya.
Bigla naman akong nag-quiet sign ako sakanya kaya napatigil naman siya dahil narinig niya din yung pinag-uusapan sa kabilang table.

"May mga rumor pa na si former Ms. SP daw yung girl na buhat buhat niya." Huh? Me? I don't think so.

"Totoo ba yan? Gosh! Si Nerdy na gwapo saka si fearless na dyosa!" Tili pa nung isa. Tch. -,- Tumayo si Mae para lapitan sila.

"Rumor nga dib--hello po, Ms. SP." Halatang nagulat yung babae. Biglaan ba naman ang pagsulpot ni Mae, e.

"Hello. Kung okay lang sainyo paki hinaan yung boses niyo nasa likod niyo lang yung pinag-uusapan niyo, o." Sabay tingin at turo sakin ni Mae. Automatic naman na naging blanko yung expression ng mukha ko nung lumingon yung dalawa. The expression on their face suddenly changed. They got scared.

"Sorry, Ms. Ysabella." They feel sorry talaga, huh? Okay, nevermind.

"Sorry din, Ms. SP." Mae just gave them a smile and leave their table.

"So, we have a classmate named Nathan?" I suddenly asked. I got curious, about him.

"Yeah. He's the classroom president." sabi niya ng natatawa. Laughing over me again.

"I don't know that classroom president exist, seriously." I said and took a sip of my orange juice.

"Of course. Wala ka kasing pakialam sa sorroundings mo kaya di mo napapansin." she said laughing. Oo na. Ako nang di nakakakilala sakanya. Pakialam ko ba? tss.

"Ah, excuse me? Can we share a table?" Someone asked I looked up and saw him smiling genuinely.
