Inside of the abandoned LexCorp facility...

"Todd, what did Grayson say?"

"Damian.  Damian, Dick's dead," Jason said, looking away from his younger brother.

"What?  No, he cannot be," Damian declared.

"He somehow wrecked during his attempted escape.  The Assassins caught up to him, and now he's...dead."

"We still have to finish the download," Damian said, turning back to the monitor.  "We have to finish it before they arrive.  Todd, I need you to be on constant door patrol.  If you hear something, take it out quickly and quietly," Damian ordered.

"Okay, update me every, even, ten percent," Jason said, walking closer to the door.

"Todd, I have acquired a mobile phone," Damian informed.  "Or at least I believe it is," Damian contradicted, turning it over.

"Whatever, just take it.  Damian, do you think you could patch our com-link into the Assassins' communication system?"

"Absolutely," Damian said, he started tapping away at the keyboard.  "We will be patched in, in a matter of seconds."

Click!

"Was it successful?" an Assassin, which Damian assumed was still inside the building, asked.

"Yes," another Assassin answered promptly.

"Ra's al Ghul will be pleased," the Assassin responded.

"Sixty eight percent progress," Damian said, interrupting the Assassins' transmission.

"We will be arriving to base now," informed the Assassin stated.

"Understood."

"Damian," Jason whispered.  "There are some Assassins coming down this hallway.  Hide up in the grates."

Damian did as he was told as fast as he could, but it wasn't fast enough.

"David, did you hear something?"

"Yeah, it sounded like it was coming from the central database room," David responded.

From the little Damian could see, he saw Jason turn around from his crouched position and mess around with the wires.  As soon as the Assassins entered the room, the last one to enter was greeted with a cable around the throat.

"Drop it!  Your buddy over here isn't that far from death.  If you want to prevent it, drop your gun," Jason negotiated.

The Assassin was about to lower his gun, but the Assassin with cable around his throat managed to spit out, "No, brother.  Do not forget our cause.  One casualty on our side is worth it if they ar-"

"Shut up!"

It was too late, the Assassin's words struck his partner and he raised his gun.

"YAHH!" Damian yelled, as he leaped down and disarmed the Assassin.

The two began combat.  They exchanged several blows, but the final hit was from Damian.

"Damian, continue with the download.  I got this one," Jason said, deflecting the Assassin's attempt to free himself.

"Todd, are you aware that the cable that you removed was an essential component in our download?"

"No.  What does it do?" Jason asked, dropping the Assassin's knocked out self next to his partner.

"The cable was suppose to make the download go faster.  Without it, I say we have to stay here another five minutes or so."

Normally, five minutes wasn't that big of a deal.  But in the present situation, five extra minutes, is more like five extra hours.
