I Had an Afternoon Off

At the suspected location of the League of Assassins...

"Three guards on the roof, two at the main entrance, one monitoring vehicles entering the camp, and three in the back," Nightwing counted, removing his thermal goggles.

"From our position," Robin began, "we can zip-line down to the roof, eliminate the guards, lure the guards at the back away, and sneak in that way."

With no objections, the brothers zip-lined down to the roof.  Robin choked out an Assassin with his bo staff, while Nightwing and Red Hood used their electrified projectiles to subdue their guards.

Robin picked up a fallen Assassin's radio and said, "Romeo-Oscar-Oscar-Foxtrot to below, we have some suspicious activities towards the back of the camp."

"Bravo-Alpha-Charlie-Kilo to above, responding to suspicious activity."

"Robin, when the hell did you learn all of the military terms?"

"I had an afternoon off," Robin shrugged.

After waiting an appropriate amount of time, the brothers grappled down to the back entrance.  Robin slid an Assassin's key card and opened the door.

"Oracle, we're in.  Oracle?"

"I think it's the compound, it's thick walls are probably blocking communication back to the Batcave," Red Hood guessed.

The brothers continued down the hallway until they were met by a door.

"Infiltration, in three, two, one," Nightwing counted, throwing open the door.

Red Hood and Robin rolled into the room, Robin and his bo staff watching the left, while Red Hood and his dual electrified batarangs monitoring the right.  Nightwing followed, his eskrima sticks at the ready.

"Holy shit," Red Hood whispered, noting the number of Assassins below them.

The brothers stood on a balcony overseeing the large production of food.  Hundreds of Assassins were injecting syringes into the food below them.

Slam!

Every Assassin in the facility below them sharply looked up, and saw the brothers with their weapons drawn.  Before either brother could process their next thought, steel gates closed in behind them, blocking passage out of the complex.  The sound of Assassins coming up the stairs in front of them grew louder and louder; until they were before the brothers, armed with assault rifles, and automatic pistols.

"Permission to engage?" Robin asked, his grip on his bo staff tightening.

"Denied.  They'll act as a firing squad to us if we do anything other than surrender," Nightwing responded grimly.

There was a dull clunk of Nightwing's eskrima sticks, as he sank to his knees.  Slowly, his brothers followed.

"We surrender," Nightwing stated solemnly.

There was a brief moment of silence before the sound of machine gunfire filled the air.

One hour later...

"I hope you are not too uncomfortable, Mister Todd."

"You."

Jason's hand impulsively tried to grab the man before him's throat.  A chain chastened Jason's hands creating a clank.

"I would not continue to do that, Mister Todd," Ra's said patronizingly.

"What were those?  Dummy bullets?"
