Our Plea

Our Plea

With wings of dragonflies, butterflies, birds,

Like porcelain we look; deceiving, concealing

Our true nature behind beautiful words.

We aren't some fictional or peace-loving

Beings who flutter around daintily.

No! We fight for our freedom from iron

Fortresses encroaching unknowingly

On our dwindling territory. Scion

After scion will die before their time,

Engulfed by the evil monstrosity

Poisoning our realm, polluting with grime;

You humans triggering calamity.

You call us pixie, faerie, sprite, fae

And it's not just us, but nature, you slay.
