The next school day started normal.
I sat in the cafeteria with Ethan and a couple of our guy friends goofing off and eating what the school system called "breakfast pizza" but everyone new they microwaved bagel bites.
As the bell rang, I went back to my locker to get my book for english.
As I was turning the combination I felt a tap on my shoulder.
Turning around I saw Sarah Brody, varsity cheerleader for all of high school, student body president and this years homecoming queen. She smiled "Hey Grayson."
I returned the smile. "Hey." I say grabbing a book and pencil.
"Um I was wondering if you uh," She stuttered. "Wanted to go out Friday?"
Mentally I cringed a little, but I smiled. "Sure."
"Oh, okay, um cool." I hesitated.
"Ill text you." I say handing her my phone to put her number in.
She nods and smiles before handing it back. I smile before walking off to room 312 for history.
