Camping Trip with Syo

It was your first year anniversary! Syo was waiting for you at your doorstep with a large backpack and pink tinted cheeks.

"H-happy anniversary, ______." he said forcing a smile through the embarassment, "I know you're not prepared at all but we're going camping!"

You clap your hands together happily, "No way! Really? Today?"

He nodded, "Yeah! Go pack some clothes comfortable enough for that. I'll wait for you out here! Don't worry about telling your parents I asked them about this weeks ago for their permission."

"Roger! Ah–Wait, are we walking there?" You asked, you were certain he didn't drive.

"Kotobuki-senpai is going to drive us there." He pointed at Reiji's green jeep.
Beep! Beep!

Reiji blew the horn to say hey. You giggle, waving at him. This was the coolest thing ever to you at the moment. Your boyfriend planned an adventure for you two to have together. How awesome was that? Out of excitement, you kiss him gently on the lips.

"I'll be right back!" you said, before dashing up the stairs to pack your bag.

How exciting!

You returned, fifteen minutes later with a packed bag. Then raced Syo to Reiji's car. The car ride was fun even though Reiji teased you both the entire time. You began to get nervous, feeling butterflies in your belly and noodle legs. This was your first over nighter with your boyfriend... Or a guy for that matter. When the car stopped, you look out to see a welcome center. That was where the two of you would go to listen boring rules, pick up boring maps and talk to boring park rangers to get and give contact information before you were able to do anything.

"Alright, kids. You're good to go!" the park ranger said to you as he stapled the papers you'd both signed. "You want me to drop you off at your site or are you going to hike from here?"

You look at Syo hoping he'd take the offer for a ride but,
"We're gonna hike!"

The park ranger chuckled at his eager attitude, "You got it! Follow the map accordingly."

"Alright."

"Your site is here." he said, circling the little tent on the map, "There you will find space for your tent, firewood is all in order all you have to do is light it, and there is a potty within 15 feet of your site."

You felt your eye twitch at the tone of voice he used when he said potty,'We're not little kids, old man.' you thought.

"Cool! Let's go get our stuff from Kotobuki-senpai's car, _______!" Syo said, leading you out of the air conditioned building. You'd miss the sweet, sweet feeling of good ol' cooling technology soon enough.

Reiji helped you grab your bags from the trunk, "Okiedokie! So this is the last bag. You kiddos have fun!" he chuckled, ruffling your hair and smacking Syo's hat down on his head.

"We will!" Syo said in an angry tone as he fixed his hat.

Reiji strolled over to the front door, "Hehehe~! But not too much fun, got it? See you tomorrow~!"

You watched Reiji drive off in the distance, the butterflies in your belly intensified. You had a bad feeling.

"Hey, _______. What's wrong?" Syo asked.

You snap back to reality, "Huh? Uhh, nothing! Nothing's wrong!"

Syo's blue eyes narrowed at you, "You don't trust me?"

"No, that's not it at all! I'm just really excited!" you said with a thumbs up.

Syo looked at you and smiled, "Really? So am I! Let's go!"
