'With Claire?' she asked, although she knew who called her, it was on the screen of her phone.
"Claire, I really am very sorry! But let me explain it to you!" his voice sounded hard through the phone and irritated by it, she kept her phone a bit away from her. Her lowerlip quivered a bit, because she missed him, and now finally heard him again. The sound of his voice, his sweet look in his eyes while they have been talking, the trust he has given her, she'd missed it all.
'They all say that.' Quickly she swallowed the huge lump in her throat. She didn't understand why he left, exactly when she needed him. She'd hoped that he wasn't the kind of boy that would run at the very first hurdle on their road. Damn, she just gathered al her courage tougether to tell him.
"Claire, trust me, please. I really can explain all of it!" he said, his voice sounded desperate. Her head didn't want to hear of it, but her feelings told her she'd to listen to what he had to say, that he would probably have a good explanation.
'Okay, explain it then.' She sighed finally. She heard him take a sigh of relief.
"It's like this: I've lied to you when I told you that I came to Monaco to visit my mother and sister. I came to Monaco to relax, without the paparazzi surounding me, without being recognized. 'cause I'm not just Daniël, Claire. I'm the crown prince of Milan. I needed to get away of it, 'cause yeah... The crowds got me a little too much and I wanted to be somewhere where I could get some peace." She heard him say.
She couldn't say a word, couldn't believe it. He couldn't be serieus, about him being the crown prince of Milan. She took the phone away from her ear, waited until the screen lit up and pressed the red button without even saying a word.
She couldn't believe that he lied to her, told her a weak, stupid story and then left her without a word....
She had become so angry with him that she ignored every incoming call of him.
A/N Im so so so sorry!!! I can't even explain to you why this chapter is so late..... Before christmas this book will end(so within two weeks.) And the next part will start.
