Claire

She must admit that she had never flown like this. It has ever been worse. Unfortunaly she was in such a luxury aircraft also. She had hoped that he had left it simple for her, so she wouldn't feel so... guilty.

She had best burden of airsickness, so when she finally stood on the ground with both feet, she was so relieved that she could cry though. Her hands were trembling and when she looked through the reflection of the window, she saw she looked like a white ghost.

When he took her with him, she started to feel better, but when she was in the limo and she could lean against him, she began to feel really better.

Unbelievable that someone seemed to have such a simple live while he actually has a very millionaire life after all, and that he could keep it a secret for weeks...

Unbelievable that she hadn't noticed it all, normally she saw very quickly, much too quickly, the snag. But not this time, she told herself that she hadn't noticed it, because for the first time in her life, someone really seemed to care about her. And she was very grateful for it. So thankful that she wanted to give him quite a second chance.

Her jaw dropped when they finally arrived at his villa.

'Daniël, this isn't a villa, this is about a castle! Where, the hell, do you get all that money from?'

"Yeah, well that money I got from the government..." he mumbled timid while they walked to the gate of his villa, and immediately they were greeted by a cute little goat. That must be the little Des, he often talked about her in his mails.

She was so cute and so little. Strangely enough, she fitted exactly with someone like him, she remarked later that day when they were enjoying the afternoon sun in the garden, after a whole afternoon of small talks. Claire was lying on a blanket on the lawn, while he was playing with Des.
