I nervously sit up on the bed as the nurse gently wipes the blood off my bruised face.

"Honey,hold still" she warns me before putting the ointment on. I wince at the icy feeling on my skin and my cut burns a bit.

"Show me your arms" she says and I hesitate a little but I hold out my hands. My body fills with panic as she rolls my sleeves up to see something and her eyes widen.

"My head hurts" I lied. The truth is I didn't want to see anyone right now. "Hudson" she turned to him and his eyes were on me.

I shifted uncomfortably playing with the ends of my shirt. "Get MacKenzie some lunch please" she says and he nods before heading out.

The door clicks and Nurse Kate turns to me. "You do realize I have to tell your parents" she clears her throat and my body fills with panic.

I feel tears brimming in my eyes. "Please d-don't!"I beg to pull on her uniform.

I didn't want my parents to find out because matters would only become worse. I'll just have to stick with it for the rest of the year.

Nurse sighs before biting down on her lip, dropping the phone. "Fine, you'll need to cover it with some makeup" she says and I sigh in relief.

"But if it happens next time I'm definitely contacting your parents" she tells me and I nod laying back in the soft bed.

She leaves me in the room, and I look up at the sleeves on my shirt before pulling it up revealing my cuts.

I trail my hand over the fresh marks, and they slightly sting at the contact. The door opens causing me to jolt and pull my sleeves down.

Hudson smiles and hands me water and what looks like some sort of wrap. "Thank you" I smiled and took the food. He just sat back in the chair as I began to eat.

I plug in my earphones and play Company by Justin Bieber. I close my eyes and listen to the song until I feel my eyelids drop.

I groaned as I turned on the side of the bed. I lazily pick myself out of bed before freshening up in the bathroom.

I walk downstairs and looked at the time. It was half past ten and I needed to get to school. I put on some makeup and pick out my clothes before heading to my car.

As I sat down my phone began to buzz. "Hello?" I held the phone to my ears and turned the engine on. "Hello, Ms. Carano" I heard Mrs. Kate's voice on the phone.

I lifted my head up a little. "Yes?" I pull out of my driveway. She cleared her throat a little before speaking into the phone.

" You're friend Ms.Bell isn't feeling very well, can you please take her home? I've already told the principal" she says and I feel my heart drop in my chest. What happened to Kenzie?

"Yes I'll be there" I told her before hanging the phone up and picking up speed. I reached to school in less than 15 minutes and quickly parked and walked to the nurse's office.

"I'm here" I breathed as I opened the nurse's room. She gets up and shows me to the room. I open the door revealing Kenzie sleeping and Hudson holding her hand passed out.
