"So have you decided what you're gonna do?" I turn to Babe as I finished my tweaks for our new upcoming game. I shut my laptop at Babe who rests the testing device. "I don't know" she mumbles, resting a finger on her lips. "I don't think I should tell him just yet"
I nod, understanding what she has to deal with. I grab my backpack and stood up grabbing my belongings. "Want some?" she asks, lifting the chocolate ice cream up, to my face. I shake my head, checking my watch to see the time.
"It's almost six Babe" I point to the glass door, the sunset beautiful and in a clear view. She groans and stuffs her face in the bowl, and I smile a little at her. "But I don't wanna go" she pouts and I grab her bag, making her sigh in defeat.
"Let's go" I pull her off of the couch and she winces as she stands up. We walk to the car and I decided to drive since Babe was exhausted. Silence filled through the car as we drove down the busy road, Babe continuously looking out the window.
"I was thinking..." she trailed off as I stopped at the street light. I lifted an eyebrow and edged her to go on if she was comfortable to talk about it of course. She bit her lip nervously and nervously tapped her fingers on her jeans.
"Would you go with me to the hospital?" she says and her words seem laced with pity, searching for comfort. I flashed a soft smile at her as I continued cruising down Brooklyn's busy street. She sighs relieved at my answer, probably glad that someone was there to support her.
"I'm not ready to tell him yet" she breathes and I nod in agreement. It's been a slow 2 months since she found out and she still doesn't think its time yet. She releases the reindeer plush and rests it in the backseat.
We arrive at the hospital 15 minutes later and slid our shades on in case someone would notice us. "Merry Christmas" the nurse greeted, smile warmer than the sun's rays. I flash her a smile and Babe lightly smiles. "We're here for the prenatal visit with Dr.Nash" I whispered and she nods and types in the computer.
We ignore the stares from the people in the waiting room, and I could tell Babe was beginning to grow uncomfortable. The rings of busy telephones and the constant sounds of talking filled the work space.
"Dr. Nash, Ms. Carano is here to see you" she speaks into the phone, nodding a few seconds after. She hangs the phone up and exits the desk. "Follow me" she leads the way down the hallway.

"Well, that wasn't so bad" Babe declares and I nod in agreement, smiling at how well it had gone. She rubs her tear stained eyes as we walk out of the hospital, cool air flying right in our faces. As we made our way to the car, I couldn't help myself from eyeing a man who walked up ahead.
I noticed how specific his body looked and the way he walked looked so similar to... "Channing!" I gasp and the man stops for a second. Babe hits my shoulder lightly and I wince. The man turns back for a second and continues walking. "Channing!" I ran as fast as I could like there was fire underneath my feet.
I had managed to jump onto his broad back, catching him by surprise. I squealed as I realized it actually was him, ignoring the shouts from Babe. I quickly jump down in realization and embarrassment and covered my face.
