Description:

*Set in Mockingjay*

Elena Mellark, twin brother of Peeta Mellark, has sought refuge in District 13 after the Capitol bombed her home in District 12. Since the end of the 75th Games, she's unsure of her brother's fate. She only knows that he's in the Capitol's hands. She doesn't know if he's dead or alive.

She doesn't want to sit on the sidelines. She wants to take a stand against President Snow and all that he stands for. Instead of conforming to 13's lifestyle, Elena wants to take up arms and become a soldier. 

She doesn't care if she fight alongside Katniss Everdeen, she just wants her brother back.

I went through a phase where I wrote a lot of one-shots, most of which will never be seen on Wattpad. Elena Mellark had a few one-shots with her name on it.

Extra things: 

*She's always been her brother's defender, especially from their mother. So basically she's got more of a spine/backbone.

*She's hated the Capitol since her brother was reaped.

*She blames Katniss heavily for what he's gone through. (She holds a silent grudge against the Mockingjay but doesn't hate her enough to want her dead.)

*When times got tough (her brother's two reapings and Games), she turned to alcohol. It was how she coped. (She is also a mood swing drunk: sad the one second and then angry the next.)

*How far she makes it through the war is up to you. Just make sure she does it in a badass way.
