An old idea from 'Future Works' that I will never have time to write, which is a shame because I tried, and failed. I failed this plot. Don't be like me, don't abandon it.

Extra things: 

*She's rescued from a brothel thanks to Scotland Yard

*She was sold to one by her then boyfriend

*She can't afford to travel back to the States (she's American)

*A nice Scotland Yarder (I don't care if that's not a word) played by Tom Mison (Ichabod Crane from Sleepy Hollow TV show) offers her refuge at his place until she can get back on her feet. She accepts. (No romance with these two; he's a protective friend to her as the story goes on.)

*She runs into John who offers her a babysitting job (he has a daughter in this; young daughter)

*If you go with John, then Mary won't be in the picture. I have nothing against Mary, but for the story to work, she has to go. If Lestrade, Mary remains in the picture. My personal preference would maybe be Lestrade, but ultimately I have no say in who Sam ends up with.

*She gets thrown into danger by someone (new villain or old, your choice) thanks to who she grows close to.

*Please try and make it a happy ending.

*Someone take this and write this, please. I tried but gave up. Don't be neglectful like I was!
