Farrah, Lexi, and I stood in line in the cafeteria waiting to get our food.
"Guys I heard about a contest and the winner gets to meet one direction!" I hear Lexi say with her nose buried in her phone screen.
"What do you have to do?" Farrah said as she was reaching for a granola bar.
"Well, you have to write a letter to the boys telling them why you should get to meet them. The winner gets to bring 2 friends and they get flown to Los Angeles and they get to meet the boys." She said as she stood in the check-out line.
"Maybe you should submit the letter." Farrah said as she sat down in her usual spot followed by me and Lexi.
"Okay." Lexi said with a smile growing on her face.
It took us about 30 minutes to eat as we talked.
"Hey, do you guys want to stay over at my place tonight?" Lexi asked us, breaking the awkward silence that had been present for about 5 minutes.
"Sure!" Farrah and I said as we threw our leftovers in the trash and headed to our last class.
