New year of school. Last year, then comes graduation and finally a start of a new chapter in their lifes.
Emma Swan was not very excited for school, of course she was going to see their friends again but it is her last year so she has to make an effort to it.
Her relationship with Neal was never the same after what happen last year. Of course that she love him so much but he was strange with her, sometimes the way he react with her it seems that they were already married or he was her father, always telling her what she has to do or were she has to go. She wasn't very happy with it but her love was too much for her to complain or break up with him.
On the other way around, Regina was very happy. Of course she didn't like the first day but she was happy because it was her last year and she was going to see her best friend, Emma, and her love, Daniel. In fact, today was their first anniversary of boyfriend and girlfriend and she was very excited for that afternoon.
She hasn't seen them all summer and she miss them so much.
Emma and Neal were the first to arrive at school. Neal has already his license so he picked Emma and went to school a little early then the others. Regina and Daniel arrieved 10 minutes later in the school bus.
"Gina!!" Emma shout and run into Reginas harms giving her a huge hug, while Daniel give those typical boys hugs to Neal.
"I've missed you so much Em!"
"Me too so much! And congrats!!"
"Thank you" Gina said with a huge smile and pulling away from the hug and continue talking "Well I have a gift for you from my vacations"
"You didn't have to but thank you"
Emma accepted the gift and when she opened she found a simple but beautiful bracelet.
"So do you like it?" Regina asked with a very excited smile on her face.
"Oh God yes it's perfect I love it! Thank you so much!" Emma said giving her a little hug.
"And I have one equal to yours, so they mach!" Regina said smiling and putting her arm in Emma's shoulders and walking towards the schools front door were the boys were. But suddenly they stop.
"Who is that guy?" Regina ask Emma.
"I have no idea."
"He's hot!"
"Regina you have a boyfriend!" Emma said smirking to her friend.
"Well that doesn't stop... "
Emma stop listening when the boy walk past them. They look to each other and their eyes met. She literally lost in his eyes, she could only think about their beauty, and suddenly a strange feeling comes to her. A feeling that she is somehow connected to him like a magnet, a feeling that she belongs next to him, a feeling that she has to know his secrets and he has to know hers.
She came to reality when Neal gave her a small kiss in her cheek.
"You're okay? You seem like you saw a ghost or something." Neal said pulling her into his embrace.
"Yeah I'm fine! And congrats Daniel!"
"Thank you!"
~~ two classes later~~
"Now I have history with Daniel and you guys?" Regina said walking out of Spanish classroom.
"I have biology and you Emma?" Neal said.
"I have math. Oh and I have to hurry the class is about to start and the classroom is a little far! See you guys later."
"Bye" they all said.
She walked inside of the classroom and there were only two people so she relax a little and choose her set. A few moments later the class was already full.
'Well that is a relief no one is next to me.'
With this thought someone seats next to her. She look to her side and notice that that was the new boy.
"Hi I'm Emma, Emma Swan. You're new here right?"
"Killian Jones and yes I am new."
"You will like it here. This town is quiet and all the people here are friendly"
"I hope so."
"Good morning class I'm your math teacher Mr. Gold, I will be a little hard on you but it's only because I want my students to have success, I expect good grades from you and if you don't understand something please let me know I will do my best. I hope you all have a nice year. Now let's start the class and open your books on page 20."
"You have accent. Where are you from?" Emma whispered to killian.
"Ireland, I had to move here to go to college but I needed to do some subjects first."
"So you're older? I'm sorry I'm making all this questions but I feel like I need to... It's stupid sorry." Emma sigh and look away.
Killian smile to himself.
"It's not stupid."
And then they stayed silent for the rest of the class.
"So I want you all to make this assignment it's four pages of exercises for you to do. But worry not! You will do it in pairs and your pair will be the one that's seating next to you! You have two weeks to do it. See you next class." Mr. Gold said when the bell for the end of school started to ring.
"So when do you wanna start? "
She asked him.
"What?"
"The assignment. When can we start?"
"Oh that. Well I can't today but tomorrow is fine for me."
"Okay tomorrow then. Can you give me your phone for give you my number?"
"Yeah sure! Here."
She took his phone and put her number and send a message to her for her to have his number too.
"Here you go thanks. And see you tomorrow."
She had lunch with Neal and then he drive her home.
When she got home, she went to her room and started to do her homework. When she finished she lay back in her bed facing the selling and she couldn't stop thinking about him. About those eyes, that perfect dark hair, that accent... She didn't realize it but she was falling for him.
She wanted to tell Regina so she picked her phone to text her but then she realized that she was on a date with Daniel so she decided to wait and tell her tomorrow.
Suddenly her phone started to buzzing. She opened the text message and it was Neal.
'Oh what am I doing?! I can't have feelings for him! I love Neal...'. She thought.
