CATHY'S POV
We sat outside the fountain eating lunch.
"Detention?" Grover asked.
"No," Ellie said.
"We're not genii!" I added.
Percy walked up behind me and said with a smirk, "Well..."
"Go drown yourself," I said playfully. I knew he wouldn't get the joke.
Grover opened his mouth and I thought he was going to say something deep and thoughtful but instead, he said, "Percy, can I have your apple?"
Percy gave it to him and, like magic, Nancy appeared in front of us.
"Oops," she said, dropping her lunch in Grover's lap. I knew what was coming next... suddenly something happened to Percy, he started to shake and the fountain exploded around us, pulling Nancy in.
Nancy yelled "Percy pushed me!" and Mrs Dodds appeared out of thin air at our side.
She turned to Percy. "Now honey..." she led him into the museum.
Grover wasn't moving so it was time for us to take action. Ellie ran up to Chiron - I mean, Mr Brunner - and whispered, "Percy needs Riptide. Now."
Chi- Mr Brunner, looked shocked . "How did you..."
I ran up and said, "No time to explain. Percy's in trouble." He quickly gave the ballpoint pen I'd always wanted to hold, and together we ran into the museum to save the day.
