Pierre's horses are beautiful! Never mind the carriage, but the horses were gorgeous. He helps me up into the carriage after I fawn over the horses. "So Pierre, where are we going?" I smile warmly at him. "We are going to a small spot of heaven I like to call it." He winks.

'Oh God.' It takes about 10 minutes to get to his "little spot of heaven" and oh my God is it heaven. A gazebo on the water with flowers and cute little sandwiches. "Oh Pierre.... Its wonderful! Did you do this yourself?" He nods. "With the help of your friend Scarlett of course." I gasp. 'But she was worried about Erik... She must've not known what it was for.' I gently hold onto his arm as he leads me go the gazebo. I look at the sandwiches and gasp. 'Oh, they're hearts!' He laughs. "I knew you would like it." For about 2 1/2 hours we laughed and spoke about anything and everything. Since he inherited wealth, he also inherited a manor! I yawned. 'All this talking has made me friggen tired...' He strokes my face with his thumb. "Tired my love?" I nod and move my head away from his hands.

'Please don't call me that. I love Erik.' My thoughts pause. 'Holy shit Erik. FUCK.' I perk up and stand. "Wow its getting late we should head back to the Opera House." He takes my arm and leads me back to the carriage. "This was very pleasant. We should do it again sometime." 'Dear God please no. It was fun but no.' I laugh a little and we get in the carriage as it goes off. It seems like a lifetime before we get to the Opera House. "Bye Pierre!" I give him a peck on the cheek and hurry in. "A woman in a hurry. I like it." I yell back at him, "I heard that!" I walk to my room and lock the door. I slump against the door and sigh in exhaustion. "Oh Lord. That was... Interesting." I look to my table and see a red rose wrapped in a black piece of ribbon. I pick it up. 'I've always wanted him to give me a rose.' I stare at the rose. A meow is heard. Ayesha has been here the whole time! I jump a little and laugh. "You scared me sweetie pie!" She purrs. I pick her up and slide open the mirror. "Lets see how my Erik is doing hm? I haven't seen him in a few days..."

I slide open the mirror, step in and start walking when I notice its unusually dark. Only a small amount of candles are lit. "Okay... odd." I walk faster, out of worry to see if Erik is ok. The gondola is right where I left it. 'He hasn't left in a while...' I hold Ayesha tighter to me and hurry down the side path. Pitch black. Only a single candle is lit. I slowly walk to the candle. "Erik....?" The candle is picked up but a shadow. He shines the candle on the right side of his face. 'He probably has his mask off.'

His expression emotionless yet cold. "Erik, whats wrong?" He puts down the candle, so I can't see him. He says nothing. "Erik. Whats going on." I say sternly. No answer. "Erik!" I yell. "You were with that foppish boy. Pierre. Again!" I roll my eyes. "He's a sweet boy that I have no interest in. You don't own me! We've just talked about this!" I yell at him. He growls. "I don't care!" Next thing I know Im on the floor with an extreme pain on my cheek. I hear Erik gasp and whimper. "Elise I'm so sorry... I don't know what came over me, I never wanted to hurt you!" I stay silent and let silent tears roll down my face.

"Elise please!" He begs. So what do I do? I run. I run down the path, past Caesar, up the stairs, down the hallway, into my room, out the door rushing past so many people, up to the roof and I fall to my knees, sobbing.

Ayesha is still with me in the satchel I had on, hiding. She snakes up my neck and onto my shoulders where she meows and licks my cheek. I look out onto Paris. It looks beautiful this late in the evening. I sit down properly, and hug my knees. "This is bullshit." I say in frustration. Something moves. Knowing Erik is probably being a creep, I stride to the statue, so it looks like I'm minding my own business. I carefully lean to the other side of the statue and- "HA!" No ones there. "Dammit." I turn around and of course, Erik is in front of me. "Shit, don't scare me like that!" I yell at him. He says nothing and drops to his knees, clutching the skirts of my dress. "Elise..." I get goosebumps. "Why does he have to be so cute..." I unknowingly whisper to myself. "Erik didn't mean to hurt you. He is a monster..." Erik starts to cry. 'Oh don't cry! My honey's crying!' I immediately embrace him. "Don't cry. I forgive you, just don't cry..." I hug him tightly. His hands shakily hug me back, like he's afraid to touch me. 'This was an eventful ass day... he needs to learn how to trust me.' I pulled back to look at him. His entrancing eyes met mine. I caressed his unmasked cheek. "Erik... Take off the mask." He looked at me like I had 6 heads. "No. No one ever has, and no one ever will. You'll drop dead at the sight of it." My heart broke. 'He's so broken.' I sigh and smile. "One day you'll let me see." I stand up and exit the roof. "One day..."
