Part 4

When you walked back into the dining room everyone was already sitting at the table eating.

You went and sat down next to Jungkook.

'Hey Hyung,' He said between mouthfuls.

Even though most of the boys were younger than you and called you hyung you still felt like the youngest.

You were actually born in 1998 so it felt weird when they used formal speech with you.

'Yeah, sleep well?' You replied.

'Mmm'

'Hey so just a reminder we have today off so don't go to the practise rooms and just hang out okay?' Jin said.

A day of. Great!

'Hey does anyone want to come with me to the mall? I need to get some...stuff' Tae asked. Glancing at jimin, who didn't notice.

Normally you wouldn't go but hey you weren't tired and you wanted to sleep and if you wanted to be tired you just needed to go with Tae get him to play with you and you'll be exhausted.

'Yeah I'll go.' You answered keeping this in mind.

'So what did you need to get?' You asked as you both walked into the shopping mall.

'Well... I wanted to get Jimin a birthday present... Like I know we don't normally get each other presents but you know like recently I've been noticing...'

'Noticing what?'

'Well I don't normally do a lot. Anyway because its his birthday I started to think maybe i might this year and what we should do and stuff so my eyes kept following him around...'

'Yeah and...?'

'And I just noticed something about him...'

'For goodness sake Kim Taehyung what is it?' You were getting frustrated now.

He looked up at you before answering.

'Have you seen how much he cares for us?'

'Well derrrr we all care for each other.'

'No I mean he really really cares. Like last Tuesday in our team practise session I saw him looking over at jin. Jin was sitting against the wall with his eyes closed, he couldn't get the dance move right and so Jimin went over and sat next to him, put his arm around him and started to comfort him. And then the next day he was talking to me about how happy he was about Hoseok. He said it made him sad when Hoseok went through that break up and how it had made him so depressedand there just wasn't anything we could do for him and he was just so, so glad he was okay now.'

You looked up at him. I know all that. You think I would have a crush on just anyone.

'Anyway,' he continued. 'I feel like I should let him know how much all that means to all of us. I know you probably noticed it too and so have the others but when we have a tough time most of the time we go to Jimin, but I started to wonder. Does Jimin know how much that means to us?'

'So you wanted to thank him with a birthday present?'

'Yeah and then this Thursday the 13th we should all day do nice things for him? I haven't brought it up with the others yet but what do you think?'

'Yeah... He deserves that, How about when we get back I'll take Jimin somewhere and you can explain it then?'

'Okay good idea. But what should I get him? It has to be special. Normally I might give him something stupid as a joke but this time, This time I want to give him something seriously.'

'Mmm... I'll do the same.'

Just then you walked past a jewellery shop and you suddenly had the best idea.

You kept walking though, it involved Tae so you would have to find some excuse to come back.

You kept walking when Tae entered shop. It was a clothing shop.

Now. It has to be now.

'Hey Tae ill be back in a second I just need to go...somewhere.'

'Toilet? Okay go ahead. Ill still be here.'

I guess its fine if he thinks im going to the bathroom.

When you came back Tae was still in the shop looking at some hoodies.

'Mm dark green, grey or back???' He muttered to himself.

You were about to announce your presence but then you noticed a black bag on the shelf on the wall.

Transfixed you walk over to it.

It was like a duffle bag. Perfect for towels, waterbottles, spare clothes anything really, Practicle as well.

You took it of the shelf and then walked over to Tae.

He'd chosen the dark green hoodie.

We paid for the presents and headed back home.

'WE'RE HOME!!!!' Tae Bellowed.

You grunted at the sudden loudness and walked into the house quickly taking your present and Tae's out of his room and ran to your room locking the door behind you.

How could he be so stupid as to not hide the presents first.

You put Tae's present against the wall before taking yours and laying the back out on your bed.

You always gave massive presents when you gave people presents. Maybe partly because you forgot it was their birthday most years so when you did rememeber you gave them 5 years of missed presents. Maybe that was why when you looked at the bag even though it wasn't cheap it just didn't seem enough.

Ill have to go back down there, but now I have to take Jimin out. No rest today then.

You sighed before moving the present against the wall and walking into the lougeroom.
