—"What are your thoughts?"
"You're not going to like it."
The infamous Mafia King, Jonathan Stone – the Stone. Accompanied by Jasper, his most trusted Consigliore.
Friday has come to a deadline, his client, Dwight Bling-Bling, was apparently getting impatient. But the king himself isn't fazed.
"It's fucking marriage Stone, you get the money as long as the deed is signed."
Jonathan puffed out a smoke, "I know. I know."
"They'll have my head first if you don't satisfy your people's needs."
"I'm not selfish, Bling."
"Then fucking act like it." He muttered under his breath.
Jasper poured another drink for his boss, careful not to look at his reaction, or else it'll piss off the mood.
"Do not rush me." Stone gritted his teeth.
Dwight finally notices his defiance on the boss and quickly apologized, "Sorry boss. I've been a mess ever since they told me he's taking over for this one." He pointed at the little girl sitting by the corner.
Stone chuckled, "Not when I'm around, no."
Dwight looked up at him, "I take it that you don't agree to that?"
"I don't entirely agree at all."
"What are you planning?" Dwight was too frightened to hear his boss' answer. Apparently, this king wasn't ready to hand over his crown from his daughter to another suitable leader.
"My daughter – I just know this will rise our name even more, the Mafia has been very curious. And now, I'm not letting it go too soon from my daughter. Not now, not ever."
Another cigarette falls onto the rug and stepped on, "I want you to do me a favor Bling."
"Anything boss."
"Move the base underground, I have plans for this upcoming plans of my friend's."
"Yes boss," he answered, "and the girl?"
"She's under my care Bling, she's my daughter."
"Wes won't be happy about this."
"He's only 15, what's he going to do?" Apparently, the Stone had to ask that.
"Wes picked up a gun when he was three, he shot two men at six, and he ripped apart a man's limbs when he was eleven. Your son is a born Stone."
"What's your point?" Stone asked, irritated.
"If he doesn't agree to your plans, he'll do something about it."
Stone hummed, glancing at his little daughter, who was sitting still; no emotion ever written on her face.
"Forget about my son," he said, "let's begin with Phase One."
Jasper stared at his Don, waiting for the signal.
Stone nodded at his Consigliore, "Bring in Joshua."
