5 years later

Abel is 8 years old
Jo and Thomas are 6 years old

Ray's POV
I have kept Gemma in the loop all of the 5 years we have been gone she occasionally comes to see us and she doesn't tell Jax anything which is good.

"Mom where's my book for school" Abel asks
"It's on your side table honey"
"Thank you"
"Your welcome"

After shouting that I shout the twins because everyone is supposed to be ready for school as I have work, we all hurry to the car and I drop the kids off to their assigned class and head to police headquarters, waiting for me was Gemma and someone I wasn't expecting Jax

Gemma was the first one to spot me and came up to me, once Jax looked at me he looked pissed.

"Hello what may be your issue, maybe I can help?" I asked
"Ray you need to come home you and the kids are in danger" Gemma said
"I can take care of them I am a cop you know"
"There safer with the club and you know it" Jax said looking at me darkly
"Yeah we definitely was safe with you shagging every croweater that seduces there way into your bed" I argue
"Listen Ray I'm sorry about that I do love you and I definitely love my kids and I haven't seen them in 5 years for Christ sake"
"Sorry I love you doesn't cut it I'll come back but I have my own house for me and my kids you have visits and maybe days but me and you are nothing after what you have done" I said to Jax Gemma looked impressed by me standing up for myself.

"So where are my grand babies" Gemma asked
"School they are 8 and 6 and 6 haha" I laughed
"Yeah we better go pick them up then" Jac says I scowl at him and go to head out

Getting in my car Jax opens the door to the passenger
"Erm what are you doing"
"Going to fetch my kids with my wife"
"We may have gotten married somewhere down the line but at this moment in time I'm just the mother of your children"
"Fine lets go"

We reach the school and I get out the car being followed inside by Jax I reach the twins' classroom and head in because it's only year 1.

I head to the teacher

"Hi Mrs Baxter I'm here to fetch Jo and Thomas me and their father are taking them away for a few months we booked the trip ages ago I filled in a form with the office"

"Oh yes I remember so we've never seen their dad before who is it" she looked around "is hat him?" She points to Jax and I nod she gives me a cheeky smile and I shake my head because she's a good friend and she knows everything now.

I go over to he twins who are playing together and Jax follows me, the twins see me and

"Mommy" they hug me I bend down to their level"hey guys so you remember how the other day you asked where your dad was" they both nodded "and I said he had to go away to make sure you both was safe but he loved you very very very much" they nodded again but Jo said "does he love Abel too" I nodded "he loves Abel the same amount as you two he loves you all very very much but guess what" they looked up at me "look who's home" I point behind me to Jax and they look up at him. Jo is all over Jax running to him and Thomas just stays put and grabs my hand, while Jo is chatting to Jax like she does I whisper to Thomas

"You scared?"
"Noooo" he whines
"You tired?"
"Noooo"
"Nooo I know he looks scary" he nods his head shoving his head into my shoulder cuddling me, I cuddle my baby boy and pick him up, Jax looks at me worried like he's done something wrong I walk to Jax and poke Thomas to get him to look from my shoulder.

Looking up he makes eye contact with Jax, Jax smiles and I feel Thomas start shaking

"Hey what's that" Jax tries to chat by pointing out Thomas' action figure but Thomas just clutches it

"You can't have it, it's mine" he says rudely
"THOMAS" I whisper shout "don't be rude to your father say sorry"
"No your rude to daddy you have a picture you swear at" I look over at Jax and see him looking surprisedly at me I shake my head denying it.

We walk out to Abel's classroom going through same explanation and take Abel to the car, getting outside Abel hugs Jax telling him how much he missed him and how much fun Australia has been.

We got in the car and Abel asked
"Why did we come Australia did you and mom have a fight?" Abel asked Jax

"No we didn't fight just thought it'd be safer for a while"

"Why are you lying mom had a dartboard with your face on it and she used to swear at it then throw the darts" again he looked at me I started to laugh I couldn't help it

Soon enough we was all at the airport met up with Gemma had the hellos and was on the plane heading back to the little town called charming
