Like the Sun,
I will sink below the
overstretched horizon.

Like the Moon,
I will stay cold,
the one side of me dark.

Like Mercury,
I will burn within
Your sickening fire.

Like Venus,
I will turn against
the tide of revolution.

Like Earth,
I will cry until I, too,
am waters so deep.

Like Mars,
I will always see red
Phobos and Deimos following.

Like Jupiter,
I will storm for eons
a silent brown star.

Like Saturn,
I will shine and flash
my large rings of glory.

Like Uranus,
I will lie on my side
and take hit after hit.

Like Neptune,
I will become so cold
that blue will be my fashion.

Like pluto,
I will be alienated,
my heart formed of ice.

Like the stars,
I will burn out forever,
light ever-reaching the universe.
